Yeah, OP must have in unchecked that "ask before quitting" checkbox in Firefox a long time ago and forgot about this feature (as did I).
But it wasn't always. I remember accidentally closing the whole browser many times. Q and W are too close for comfort.
... along with spyware telemetry
Fuck FF and the grifting Mozilla Foundation.
Long live LibreWolf! Long live the fighters!
No need for the hate. Without firefox, librewolf cannot exist.
Oh, I still kick $5/mo to Mozilla for FF maintenance. But I hate FF and Mozilla Board with a passsion.
You can also enable this in the Firefox settings, btw. IDK if it's default, haven't used a completely fresh install in a while.
Ctrl+shit+t will get back whole windows in Firefox if you need it
Ctrl+shift+T will get you your last closed tab, or all of your tabs if you closed multiple at once. Ctrl+shift+N will reopen the last closed window, including all the tabs it contained.
Thanks for the advice!
Not if you closed it with Ctrl+q
I hate this feature. Chrome does it too.
when you close firefox accidentally, you can open it again and press Ctrl+Shift+T to reopen all the tabs from the previous session.
