Personally I think he's holding that newspaper kind of strangely, and I don't know what's up with the bright spot around his index finger.
Also the complexion on his left hand is gnarly.
Anyone who knows sports wanna zoom in and figure out who that is on the newspaper and if it makes sense for a recent edition? Thinking this pic may be old or AI.
The image quality is likely terrible on purpose. It's square, so it's almost certainly modified at least to crop it, I only rarely see people do square photos on purpose for something that is supposedly candid. Photos can be taken at any time, so this would only be proof of life if
- The newspaper's date was legible and the paper itself could be verified
- The photo's quality allowed for better "is it AI" analysis
Looks like the paper may be from Sunday July 12 (today's edition) based on the baseball article.
The fact they purposely included a current newspaper because they recognise how surprising it is he is still alive. Lol.
