Anyone who knows sports wanna zoom in and figure out who that is on the newspaper and if it makes sense for a recent edition? Thinking this pic may be old or AI.

The image quality is likely terrible on purpose. It's square, so it's almost certainly modified at least to crop it, I only rarely see people do square photos on purpose for something that is supposedly candid. Photos can be taken at any time, so this would only be proof of life if

  1. The newspaper's date was legible and the paper itself could be verified
  2. The photo's quality allowed for better "is it AI" analysis

I want the "chin too square 5/7" guys to go nuts on this picture.

Personally I think he's holding that newspaper kind of strangely, and I don't know what's up with the bright spot around his index finger.

Also the complexion on his left hand is gnarly.
