Do you know what's different in Second Edition?
For those wondering, I can clarify that Pathfinder's original edition exists because D&D used to be more about numbers and strategy and, with Fourth and especially Fifth Edition has become more casual. So a lot of people were still playing 3.5, and some of them decided to make their own system called Pathfinder based on those values. So on one hand it's fair to say "Pathfinder is like K-Mart D&D," but also, Pathfinder has a very valid audience and I'd absolutely love to learn it and play a game of it (though, I'm more interested in Starfinder as D&D doesn't have a sci-fi branch). I almost joined a Starfinder game, but my nephew was just getting into D&D (5e) and I was there to support him. If my wife was around I'd say "take him and do that, I'm getting in this game." But she wasn't. So I didn't.
Anyway, I'm wondering if (and I can't be the only one) Pathfinder Second Edition is more technical, more casual, or just more refined. Maybe it's common knowledge around TTRPG gamers, but, I really don't see a lot of them. COVID wiped out the weekly games, and the games haven't come back here. At this point I'd be willing to learn a new game system. Kinda curious about Cyberpunk 2020 since I enjoyed the video game.
