It reminds me how there was an old commercial, I think might've been for tums, where the guy is eating pizza then suddenly gets heartburn, pops the meds and goes back to eating more pizza. And when you think about it logically, it's his body screaming at him from abuse and he's just like meh shut up body, I'm eating more pizza and you can't stop me.
On one hand, it's just a silly ad to get the point of "our medicine works so well that you can keep doing the thing that made you need it." But somewhere between the lines, there's the connotation of "sating your appetites matters more than your well-being."

As a European how has been into a Taco Bell exactly once in their lifetime, I always assumed it was the low quality ingredients rather than the unexpected fiber. The ground beef looked like shredded tendons and cartilage bathing in motor oil.
