I’ve been slowly coming out to people for a while, but always like one person at a time. But now that I’ve been on HRT for a while (and my boobs are starting to get noticeable) I want to get this all over with and just be out to everyone.

So the other day, I texted my friend who organizes a group that we’re part of, and she was so supportive! And then I put a message in the Discord server for the group and everyone was so kind and supportive and just welcomed me with no hesitation!!! 🥰 It really made my whole week

Now it’s just the hard ones left (work and family), but at least I know I have my communities of support if I need them ❤️

If you’re at all worried about work, document some recent interactions with peers and managers. See if you can get some positive feedback in writing, too.
So if they react badly and start dicking you around, you have evidence of discrimination

Good advice, thank you! Unfortunately, my boss listens to Hannity at lunch every day and has told transphobic stories in our team meetings before as "jokes", so I'm probably going to quit and try to just start my next job with my new name. I'll still have to update folks in my industry that I know and get along with, but hopefully I can avoid having to deal with my asshole boss.

Well, maybe record those instances as best you can. Come out, get a little bit of harassment and then take them to court and retire.

Not an ideal plan, granted. But we can’t be letting Hannity-watchers have money.
