honestly im not forgiving anyone who supported him. i live close to an american base and they basically confirmed some of the servicemen there were involved in raping local women and they were allowed to leave the country and evade any consequences. there is no accountability at all for any soldiers in this nations military for what they do abroad.
When this is the way Platner acts in the US, to other white people, I can only imagine what he felt emboldened to do against the Iraqi women he terrorized. But to most Americans, all is forgiven if you are a veteran.
