Utter nonsense. These people aren't ideologically committed to anything except their own self-interest. They say whatever the Israel lobby tells them to say. In exchange they receive political support in both the media and donations.
If they don't obey they receive massive smear campaigns and other politicians which are part of the lobby turning against them. And blackmail with little children of course.

After the Iran war you can't seriously tell me the West is acting in their own self-interest. America and Europe are in self-destruct mode for Israel, and China is sitting back and taking the free win.
I recall something a medic who went to Gaza said on Hasanabi's channel, that a lot of Western politicians admitted to him they are scared of being denied access to oil if they don't maintain support for Israel; my reading of this is that one of the things they're worried about is potentially a united Arab middle east that would have greater control over the oil in their region, that Israel dividing them makes the oil situation better for them. Sort of similar to how a divided Africa is better for stealing their resources.
