And millions will still pay the cash for the game…

It's probably a big reason they are trying to unionize before the release of GTA VI. It wouldn't be the first time a company fired half the dev team so they didn't have to pay out bonuses. It's actually incredibly common. It only takes a fraction of the dev team to maintain the game post launch vs actual development and CEOs fully take advantage of this.

Unions need to make a comeback.

They already are in the midst of one. They’re being shut down before they can even bargain with their employers

Don't worry everyone. Consumers will vote with their wallets this time. GTA IV will be a watershed moment when big corpos learn again that they can get away with anything bc there's millions of people who don't gaf about anything other than themselves.

At this point I genuinely hope GTA VI is an unoptimized mess that isn't much different from GTA V and despite initial sales the game gets dropped off like a cliff.

It'll be goty for consoles and people will buy it in droves. It's not like there's that much to play on consoles these days anyway that doesn't exist on PC.

They know they need to nail it to sell billions of dollars, and you can bet they will. So much of what they do just feels dirty. Unethical business.

Awesome, even more reason to not get GTA 6!

Collecting reasons to not buy like infinitely stones at this point

Leading by example. Nice.

I hope this falls flat on its face as GTA during v had little new to say from a plot or world building perspective.

I'm sure it will probably be a huge success.
