I don't know if I like the use of the term "us" from the title of a news article. I get the author might be Canadian and obviously it affects them too but just report the news as a content delivery and not a way to create engagement.

In mainstream Canadian media, there has practically been silence on the impacts of the pro-corporate decisions Carney's been making on everyday Canadians. Given this particular news topic, and not general online posting etiquette, I really support the use of 'us' here - it is part of the content. That said, asking why 'us' is being used is smart
Absolutely. I voted for him but other than speeches, the most he's done is sold Canada to the highest bidder. This is becoming a theme with all wings of government.
That said, everyone knows Carney is a traditional moderate conservative. This doesn't excuse the liberal party for this since he represents them, but it does help us plebs understand the thought process behind Carney and "how he could betray us."
After the port sales, the abandoning of green energy deals, and everything else I'm starting to think we're just fucked lol.
Liberals bribe us with meager social reforms so they can sell us to capital. Conservatives bribe us with social regressions so they can sell us to capital. They both represent the ruling class, which in Canada and any other proper colonialist country is largely extra-governmental.
"us" is manipulating the reader in this headline, intended or otherwise. rabble.ca wears its bias openly, and has a strong editorial position, so there's a case for them to use the word when actually talking about themselves, but I don't really think this "us" refers to the paper. It's also not cool that obviously editorial content is labelled "news" at the top of the page, making the "us" that much less forgivable.
