I hear people justifying why they don't put a jack on phones and there's so many people saying it saves space on the phone and all that. I just don't see that making sense for a tablet ...

It doesn't really make sense for phones, either. Phones had headphone jacks many years ago, a usb-c to headphone jack adapter is demonstrably very tiny and I've even seen a video where a guy gets a PCB printed to add the headphone jack back himself and he used the usb hub to implement it.

Lenovo love a great idea, with a fantastic price point but a terribly disappointing execution. I get it, profit over everything, but I wish they'd stop under powering their tablets.
