Fuck you imperialist occupier! May you know no peace from now on.

Imagine your country invading another, you illegally occupy some land, and expect people to feel sorry for you because you're sad...

Just think how the Ukrainians feel when your country launches missile strikes on schools, hospitals and residential buildings.

My sympathies are with the Ukrainians not the invading occupiers.

If she's lived in Crimea for 3 years, she moved there during the "SMO," which only makes her self-pity funnier.

[–] SupraMario@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

Anyone who moved there since 2014 from russia knew what was going on. The whole "they're just separatist" was bullshit from day 1.

“I never thought this could happen to me.”

She moved into occupied territory during a war and thought it would be safe? Is she stupid?

[–] ladicius@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago

Yes. And an despicable azzhole, too.

It almost sounds like satire. Like, come on, do the next step: "Oh, this is how Ukrainians must have felt during the last years. Maybe this is inhumane." Is this so difficult?

What reason do we have to think the video is not satire? There's nothing in it but a woman speaking. I can't judge her Russian, but it would probably be called out if it was suspicious. But what positive evidence is there that this person is being truthful other than it's what everyone would like to hear from Russians in Crimes.

Yeah we cannot tell. Propaganda is done on both sides. There have been posted many many videos like this in the last days/weeks and I cannot tell if they are legit. However I am pretty sure this sentiment exists in Russia, I can imagine they must be pretty shocked that war is coming home now, after Putin promised the opposite for so long.

It will end if you and your fucking military fuck off into the mainland and start paying for the damage you've caused, stupid twat.

Rest in piss asshole.

[–] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago

It ends when you leave sweetie

In general, I see this exact sentiment on very pro-z platforms like pikabu. Reminiscent of Crimea 2014 rise and disenchantment of 2018 pension reform. We'll see how it goes this time
