🇮🇷 Baghaei on Israel:

🔸If Israeli attacks in Lebanon continue, it will be considered a breach of US commitments.

🔸We do not differentiate between the United States and the Zionist entity, but the differences in opinions between them regarding methods and mechanisms are clear and obvious. The Zionist entity does not want to give the slightest chance to any diplomatic path.

🔸It is the responsibility of the United States to compel the Zionist entity to respect the commitments it made to Iran in this document.

❗️Members of UK House of Lords exposed for lobbying on behalf of UAE amid Sudan genocide

ExpandAccording to an investigation by Middle East Eye, three members of the UK House of Lords hold paid roles at FGS Global, a multinational consultancy that has lobbied senior British officials on behalf of the Emirati government since October. Among them is former Labour MP Thangam Debbonaire, who previously made public statements railing against the "egregious acts of paid lobbying."

In 2024, FGS donated more than $34,500 to the Labour Party. Part of this funding covered the secondment of FGS employee Kamella Hudson, who served as an election campaign adviser to Rachel Reeves before her appointment as chancellor of the Exchequer.

While FGS Global stated that no peers work directly on the UAE account, human rights and transparency campaigners warn that such arrangements allow foreign states to purchase access and influence within British democracy.

The revelations come amid intensifying scrutiny over the UAE's covert role in Sudan, where UN investigators accuse Abu Dhabi of funneling weapons to the Rapid Support Forces paramilitary group. Despite a UN arms embargo and evidence of mass atrocities in Sudan, the UK government has continued licensing military exports to the UAE, while FGS Global has simultaneously ramped up its lobbying blitz to manage the Gulf state's bilateral relations in both London and Washington.

🇮🇷🇺🇸🇰🇼| Interview with the Iranian pilots who bombed US bases in Kuwait:

We attacked the US Buehring base. It was as if God turned each of our bombs into several bombs. The scale of the fire was so huge that we even saw several helicopters bursting into flames and then exploding.

The area was thrown into chaos, and they started activating their air defenses.

During our turn, we saw them firing missiles at targets in the sky.

My back-seat cockpit officer told me that an explosion had happened in the sky, we were confused about where they were being hit from.

By mistake, their aircraft also took off and the 3 American F-15s that were coming for a counterattack toward our Iran, the Kuwaitis mistook them for targets & shot them down.

By God’s grace, they destroyed all 3 of them at the same time.

They weren’t able to intercept & track us because of our deceiving tactics.

🇮🇷🇺🇸🇰🇼| Iranian F-5 pilot who bombed US Buehring base in Kuwait:

We were flying at an extremely, extremely low altitude.

From a flight-standard perspective, the standard training altitude is around 500 feet, but we were below 50 feet.

We knew that Patriot systems were deployed in the area, and that this base had multi-layered air defense. Given Kuwait’s cooperation, they were protecting this base, and scrambled F-18s were monitoring it.

Even though we knew AWACS aircraft were up there and surveillance/listening sites were active, the entire flight was conducted under complete radio silence.

I should mention here that there were 2-3 ships, we were flying so low that we passed between 2 ships, and their decks were higher than us. In other words, the sailors were looking down at us from the deck.

We passed through there, and thank God, entered Kuwaiti waters, and from there entered Kuwait itself.

When we entered Kuwait, the high-voltage power lines suddenly became 10x times more numerous. Their refineries and forces were along our route, all of them were within our reach.

We could have bombed them immediately without any problem. But our target was Camp Buehring.

We carried out this route at very high speed and very low altitude. And then, when we reached the base, we bombed it successfully.

🇮🇷| Iranian Army Soldier affirms they are in control of the Strait of Hormoz, not the gentlemen in suits and ties in Tehran or Washington.

He says: “Behind me is the Strait of Hormoz: The closest point to the mouth of the strait. This is our Persian Gulf. We are still here, in 55 degree humid heat, standing with our flesh, blood, and soul, far from our wives and children, and we will never abandon this place.”

He bravely says: “We are the ones who decide who passes through here, not the suit-wearers in Tehran sitting under air conditioners, and not those in Washington. We are here, and we say who goes and who comes.”

He says they will not let the blood of fallen comrades be wasted, urges people to stay in the streets, and promises that as long as the people don’t give up, they won’t abandon the Strait either.

“We have stood here until the last drop of our blood. As long as every one of us, the boys of the IRGC and the Army, are here, no one has the right to pass through. We will not make ourselves indebted to the blood of the boys and girls of Minab, and we will not allow their blood to be trampled.

People, stay in the field. Stay in the streets. We are here. If you do not abandon the streets, we will not abandon this place either. Rest assured.

By God, we are not regretful. By God, none of us is upset that we have been standing here for 100 days now. I am saying this: with our flesh and soul, with our blood, and as long as there is blood in our veins, we will stand here.

And we will firmly defend this Gulf and the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, by the permission of Lady Fatimah Zahra, and by the permission of my leader, Imam Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei.

The traitors to the homeland should know: we are here as long as there is life in our bodies.”

[2026-06-18] @Pataramesh@twitter.com: It all could have went very different for Iran if:

  • It had no missiles & drones able to penetrate opponents defenses and answer back... ↪️ 🇺🇲 + 🇮🇱 would have certainly hit Powerplants & bridges

  • It had no 60% enriched weaponizable Uranium... ↪️ Entirely possible that it's Missile Cities & Nuclear sites would have been hit by chemical or even tactical nuclear weapons

  • It had no persistent & credible control over the Strait of Hormuz on which world economy depends... ↪️ A U.S. naval & economic blockade could have put Iran under siege without any leverage to counter it with time on its side

  • It had no super-hardened Missile & Drone Cities... ↪️ U.S. & Israeli stand-off missile power, and Airpower, would have neutralized Iran's capability to hit back at will and persistently

  • It had no ambush-type air-defenses to hold opposing Airpower at risk... ↪️ 🇺🇲 & 🇮🇱 Airpower with low-cost guided bombs could have suppressed Missile & Drone launch operations and badly degrade Iran's missile launcher fleet

➡️ Only the combination of all of this, and more, lead to the outcome we witnessed

Iran is a very... different country...

It's always weird reading stuff like this. We spend so much time on explaining things and the stuff going on beneath the mask. And then somebody drops a statement like this. Like what other meaning is there than "we've been committing genocide in Gaza, now we want to do that in Lebanon." Their actions already seemed in that direction to me. But he's basically saying it outright. Yeah, he may not use the word genocide, but 1+1=2.

[2026-06-18] @soil_owner@twitter.com: It's pretty clear there are four and a half TRULY sovereign countries i.e they have nukes, a capable conventional military, control of the information space, and some level of resource security:

  4. The DPRK

4.5) Iran (no nukes, yet)

[2026-06-18] @thereisnobeth@twitter.com: crazy how you don't actually have sovereignty unless you have nukes

I think it's crazy to say that Iran's not sovereign by this random metric w it's level of deterrence: the strait, all the missile cities, & the potential of making a thermonuclear within weeks if they need to. No Vietnam is slander, as always.

My Opinion On The Game

Alright, this is a strange post from me but allow me to yap for a second after all the news posts.

The game was pretty good in my opinion, I enjoyed it thoroughly and it was clear that the stadium was heavily favoring Iran, at least from the broadcast that's how it looked. The diaspora really showed up regardless of politics and largely supported the team, their cheers were deafening every time Iran made a play.

Iran's defense could have been better, but each early goal of NZ was met with a fantastic counter play by Iran. They managed to get three goals, but one was annulled for being off sides, so the game ended in a tie.

Overll a good game I have to say, and I hope that Iran gets the chance to kick some Belgian ass eventually (apologies to the Belgian comrade I know frequents here).

❗️Lebanon files formal complaint with UN over Israel's use of cancerous herbicide, violating Chemical Weapons Convention

ExpandLebanon has filed a formal complaint with the UN Security Council accusing the Israeli military of carrying out a chemical warfare campaign targeting agricultural lands near the Blue Line, Lebanon's Foreign Ministry confirmed. The diplomatic escalation follows a February aerial operation where Israeli aircraft sprayed southern Lebanese border villages, including Aita al-Shaab, with extreme concentrations of the toxic weedkiller glyphosate.

Laboratory analysis of soil and plant samples from the targeted zones revealed chemical concentrations reaching a staggering 22,750 micrograms per gram—more than 11,000 times the standard levels used in conventional farming.

The Lebanese government explicitly categorized the border spraying as a deliberate war crime intended to systematically poison the environment, destroy local livelihoods, and render entire border communities uninhabitable. The complaint states that the deployment of high-density toxins constitutes a flagrant breach of international humanitarian law and the Chemical Weapons Convention.

UN officials have voiced serious alarms over the long-term impact of the chemical assault, confirming that the operation threatens the health of civilians, risks permanently ruining vital farmland, and violates UN Resolution 1701.

Just kidding

Despite Iran's efforts and genuine intentions to see an end to Israeli terrorism on Lebanese soil, I am a southern Lebanese woman from Khiam. I lived through the reality of occupation, aggression, and war firsthand. I have also spent years studying the history of an entity born from supremacy, colonialism, dispossession, and theft.

The more I witness and learn about its genocidal tendencies and terrorism, the less faith I place in any signed document between any two governments that believe they can somehow restrain or control this cancerous project of terrorism.

I see no lasting peace emerging from pieces of paper. I see the same pattern that history has shown us for decades: wars, massacres, invasions, and, inevitably, Resistance.

If history has taught us anything, it is that no agreement, resolution, or signature ever stopped Zionists from killing, occupying, or stealing. What stopped them were the costs imposed on them. What forced them to retreat was bullets, Katyushas, Kornets, missiles and FPVs... only Resistance.

That is why my trust has never been in signed papers. My trust lies in the ability of people to defend themselves, their land, and their dignity. And that is where it will remain.

[2026-06-18] PressTV via Al-Thawra – Hezbollah chief hails Iran for curbing Israeli attacks on Lebanon

Expand article

Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, has praised Iran for forcing Israel to halt its military aggression against Lebanon, saying the Islamic Republic has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting truth, resistance, and oppressed nations.

In a message addressed to the Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Sheikh Qassem commended Tehran for forcing the Israeli regime “to immediately and permanently halt military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon.”

He said the Islamic Republic turned the sole effective glimmer of hope for ending Israeli aggression against Lebanon into a tangible reality, demonstrating to the world that Iran supports truth, the resistance, and oppressed peoples.

“Had others followed its (Iran’s) path, the US and Israel would not have tyrannized, and the Zionist occupation would not have remained entrenched on the land of Palestine and Jerusalem,” he added.

Sheikh Qassem said “words fail to express” Hezbollah’s gratitude for Tehran’s firm and supportive stance towards Lebanon, its people, and its resistance.

The Hezbollah leader reiterated that Iran had consistently backed Hezbollah and Lebanon without seeking anything in return.

He hailed the Islamic Republic for directly confronting Israel following attacks on Beirut’s southern suburbs, saying, “Iran is the icon of pride and honor.”

The Hezbollah chief also thanked Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, other officials engaged in negotiations and regional diplomacy, and members of Iran’s armed forces and the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) for their role in confronting the aggression.

The Israeli regime escalated its deadly attacks on Lebanon in March, violating an existing ceasefire with Beirut and a subsequent Pakistan-mediated ceasefire agreement between Tehran and Washington that also encompassed Lebanon.

Iran has maintained that a ceasefire in Lebanon is inseparable from any final agreement with the United States.

On Sunday, Tehran and Washington finalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that, among other provisions, requires an immediate and permanent end to the war across all fronts, including Lebanon.

FM Araghchi said on Tuesday that any future Israeli attacks on Lebanon or continued occupation of recently seized territories in the country would constitute a violation of the MoU.

— 🇮🇷/🇮🇷 Full statement by Hezbollah on the MoU:

Expand

‘Hezbollah congratulates the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership, and its people, on the great achievement of reaching a Memorandum of Understanding with the United States of America, which has led to a comprehensive ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon.

This great achievement is the fruit of the legendary steadfastness, exceptional resilience, and immense sacrifices made by the dear Iranian people and their wise leadership, who have adhered to the national choices that preserved their dignity, sovereignty, and independence.

On this momentous occasion, Hezbollah extends its greetings and appreciation to His Eminence the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei (may God protect him), who has guided this phase with unparalleled wisdom, courage, and insight, to the President and government of Iran, and to the valiant armed forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Army, and the brotherly Iranian people.

Hezbollah expresses its profound gratitude for their unwavering support to Lebanon, its people, and its resistance, and for their insistence that Lebanon be present in any agreement leading to a cessation of hostilities and the preservation of its rights. For this, they have borne the heavy burdens of siege and aggression, thus reaffirming that the Islamic Republic is truly a strong and loyal ally and supporter.

Hezbollah also extends its greetings to all the countries that participated, contributed, assisted, and supported the efforts to remove obstacles in order to achieve this agreement. Hezbollah emphasizes that Lebanon must make the best use of this regional and international support to achieve Lebanese sovereignty and liberate its lands within the framework of national unity.

We extend our deepest respect and admiration to the honorable, dignified, and resilient people of the resistance, and to the displaced families, for their patience, endurance, and steadfastness. We salute their sacrifices and all they have offered in the face of this barbaric aggression. They have truly proven themselves to be a proud people, the most honorable of all, as described by the Master of the Martyrs of the Nation, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

We also salute the leadership of the resistance and its valiant, heroic fighters, the nation's impregnable shield and strong bulwark, who sacrificed their pure blood and souls for the glory of their homeland and the dignity of their people. They waged heroic battles where the Israeli enemy witnessed some of their might and tasted the bitterness of defeat.

We affirm that what has been achieved is a prelude to completing the liberation of our land, the return of our prisoners to their homeland and families, the return of all residents, especially those in the frontline villages, to their homes, and the reconstruction of what the aggression has destroyed. We call upon our steadfast people to exercise patience and await instructions from the relevant authorities regarding their safe return to their villages and towns, for their own safety and to avoid any dangers that may arise from potential Israeli violations.

The Israeli enemy must understand that there will be no return to the pre-March 2ns status quo, and that the resistance, which has been and remains the vigilant guardian of the homeland and its people, will not accept any aggression that violates its sovereignty or sheds the blood of its people. The resistance will remain committed to Lebanon's legitimate and unwavering right to defend its land, its people, and its sovereignty until a complete withdrawal is achieved and the prisoners are returned.’

‘Therefore, we emphasize that this stage requires the government and all Lebanese political forces to return to a unified national stance in order to achieve the goals upon which the Lebanese people agree, goals that embody Lebanon's best interests and preserve its sovereignty, strength, and resilience in the face of Israeli ambitions.

It is wise to review all the calculations and paths taken by the authorities, to benefit from this experience and the experiences that preceded it in our homeland Lebanon, to move away from illusions and losing bets, and to acknowledge that a unified Lebanese position and reliance on true friends is the best way to preserve national interests.’

❗️Hezbollah tank ambush eliminates Israeli armored battalion commander and three occupation soldiers in southern Lebanon

ExpandAccording to the Israeli military, a lethal overnight resistance operation by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon killed four occupation soldiers from the 401st Armored Brigade’s 52nd Battalion, including the battalion commander, Lieutenant Colonel Dor Gedalia Ben Shamkhon.

Israeli Army Radio reports that the incident occurred around 12:20 AM in the vicinity of Kfar Tebnit, when a "suspicious target"—suspected to be an attack drone or guided missile—scored a direct hit on an Israeli tank operating under the command of the Givati Brigade. The force of the impact killed Ben Shamkhon and three other soldiers on the spot.

The elimination of Lieutenant Colonel Ben Shamkhon marks a devastating blow to the leadership of the 52nd Battalion, which has faced repeating losses in the ongoing ground invasion. Ben Shamkhon had only assumed command of the battalion to replace his predecessor, identified only as Lieutenant Colonel (A), after the latter was critically wounded during intense battles in southern Lebanon roughly two months prior. The military censorship apparatus delayed releasing the names of the remaining three dead occupation soldiers as the Israeli army continues to investigate the exact nature of the weapon that bypassed its defense systems.
