❗️China announces aid package to Iran and Lebanon

China will deliver a fresh round of humanitarian aid to Iran and Lebanon to assist with economic recovery and postwar reconstruction, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian announced today.

“Considering the real situation in the relevant countries, China has decided to offer humanitarian aid to Iran and Lebanon … to further assist the people there in recovery and reconstruction, as well as improving their economy and livelihood,” Lin said.

Lin also stated that China remains committed to playing a positive role in restoring regional peace and stability. This marks Beijing’s second major aid package to Tehran since the start of US-Israeli attacks in February.
