If so, how should we go about it?

It's mid season and there doesn't seem to be much interest in this community while !Hockey@Lemmy.ca seems to be more regularly active. I was going to give it a full season, but I think the trend is pretty clear already.

I'm a mod at !hockey@lemmy.ca. I personally think it's a good idea to get everyone in one place. I would love more participation over where we are.

We have a game day thread bot, (it's currently down because the NHL changed their API, and I haven't had time to rewrite that part of it yet), but we have very little conversation on the threads. So I say the more the merrier.

I reached out to the other mod and founder of the community to get his thoughts, but he hasn't gotten back to me. So idk. I'm all for it.

I think you can stop the ability to post to a community then sticky a post directing people to the other community.
