What blew my mind the most was the mouse and monitors were files.

I am immensely disappointed that this isn't a real book.
As a engineer and parent that got a lot of these awful $SCIENCE subject related books as gifts. I'm sure you can find a similar one.
But I have yet to get one that wasn't just a horribly written kids book. Like, I use to think writing a kids book was a joke.
It's extremely difficult to find books that are eye catching enough for a child, interesting enough for a parent to WANT to read, and has memorable parts so the kid WANTS to read it.
The $SCIENCE topic books for kids are all just boring art, almost all the pages either look the same (when they try to tell an actual story) OR they are like reading a dictionary where no page is actually related.
None of them are filled with puns for parents either. I don't get it. That's low hanging fruit.
Maybe I've gotten bad ones. But holy shit. Give a Doctor Seuss book to me any day.
If you want to buy a $SCIENCE related joke gift to one of your friends. Give the kid a T-shirt. The books are awful.
Woa! Does that mean you've already covered the basics of C? If they ever happen to get bored, try some elementary boolean logic, binary arithmetic or electricity.
NO WAY! They've got an LFS one now?!? My son got a bunch of them for his baby shower two years ago, and he's been like super into them since he was like 15-18 months old. I highly recommend Bayesian Statistics; it explains the concept more clearly than any stats or data science class I've taken. His favorites are Optical Physics (because he's into rainbows), Bayesian Statistics (because he likes cookies), and Quantum Computing (because he likes the word "data", probably because he hears me say it in work meetings).
This is actually photoshopped and just a meme. But I am amazed that those books you mentioned apparently seem to be real.
Should have known from the fact that the spine says "Quantum Entanglement". This is the set my son was given. Looks like he actually has published a few more since then, but nothing Linux-related (yet). We love them!

My kids all daily drive linux. I don't treat it like it's weird or special. It's just the preferred OS of the house.
