Hey guys I am soon going to start the HA journey. I am looking at what hardware to use and I am really not sure. Especially after years of experience with computers for work and a thon of DIY hobbies I know that when you start you often make the wrong choices because you don't know enough so you think that something is important when it really isn't or things like that.

So question is, what do you run HA? on why do you like it why you don't? what would you differently if you rebuilt your setup today?
