he wouldn't have to buy that if they made more strawberry flavored toothpaste for adults

“We have strawberry toothpaste at home”

Strawberry toothpaste at home: Gingivitis^TM^

Why the fuck does children things have to have such grotesque cartoon faces on everything? There’s exactly zero children 0-2 buying toothpaste.

[–] catbum@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

I wonder if they design these throwaway cartoon graphics to be purposely heinous, like to mitigate against accidental copyright infringement or something.

I mean it's sure as shit she ain't no Sandy Cheeks

It… err… helps with abrasion?

[–] garbagebagel@lemmy.world 9 points 2 days ago

My mom still prefers gel over paste but it is getting increasingly more difficult to purchase so she often ends up with this kids stuff...no longer in a cool star shape though :(

[–] Aeri@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

That's kinda cool tbh

[–] MurrayL@lemmy.world 30 points 2 days ago (2 children)

It’ll work, sure, but kids toothpaste has lower fluoride content so I wouldn’t recommend it long-term.

Isn't that the stuff that turns the frogs gay

[–] cute_noker@feddit.dk 2 points 1 day ago

Then what do you think it does to teeth

[–] baguettefish@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

no that's atrazine and it does actually turn frogs hermaphroditic and it's banned outside america and a few other countries.

there's a whole fun story in there about a massive company that silenced a lone researcher and lobbied the EPA so hard the EPA allowed the company to investigate itself.

Ah ha, thanks for the info

Can you find some that has the adult amount of fluoride but doesn't have unlabeled mint flavor in there too? I've spent so much time and effort on this I wish I could take your advice so bad

[–] MurrayL@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

There are a few adult toothpaste brands focusing on alternative flavours that have emerged in the last few years. My wife loves the ones from Hismile.

Maybe he just doesn't like mint.

Why are 29 and 32 year old siblings still living together?

[–] isyasad@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Could be for a variety of reasons. It's unacceptable though, and personally harms me.

[–] MintyFresh@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

Just ruined my day! I may even stub my toe later about it.

[–] FloatingAlong@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

Exactly. Why are they even sharing toothpaste? In this economy?

[–] Eggymatrix@sh.itjust.works 6 points 2 days ago

Classic big brother
