Title. Yeah the games really never grabbed me. I did beat red/blue as a kid but pokemania didn't win me over. Probably because at the time I was playing much more in-depth JRPGs like Final Fantasy. While on the other hand, as a kid I was interested in the tcg but had no one to play nor the disposable income to collect. Fast forward to today and now I can play solo games against myself and test out decks and cards thanks to the internet.

This website https://ptcgsim.online/ is pretty robust and features a very large cardpool. Today I was messing around with haymaker decks against myself. Over 3 games, best of 3, I tied with myself, so wow cool.

Anyway it's neat and it's also got a multiplayer option where you can host a room, so if anyone ever wants to play a casual game? lmk

Could have written that first paragraph myself except that JRPGs never really grabbed me either.
