Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
I would wager that an additional two in five were oblivious to such harassment or contact.

Or, like me, you gave cat-callers the finger and just walked on without looking at them or even thinking about it until years later.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who had that routine nailed by the time I was thirteen.
Don't worry, I'm sure being harsher on trans and gender-nonconforming people will improve the situation! That will definitely help with girls and women feeling like they have to dress and act in certain ways to avoid unwanted behaviour!
Fuck's sake this sucks. I hope Labour's plan actually addresses some of the issues raised, but I do genuinely worry any gains will be offset by all the other negative trends in the country right now... And that's before considering Reform potentially gaining power. Urgh.
I remember in year 7 was walking behind girl in the year above between the bus stop and school gate. She was maybe 13 ish (I think). She was one of the hottest girls to us but looked her age to adults.
The looks from some of the men in a line of cars who stuck in traffic was just horrifying and stuck with me. Some proper leered at her, and one who was a passenger even nudged the driver to look. She didn't react or anything and remember thinking poor girl, she must get this all the time to be so used to it.
