there are plenty of opensource markdown editors. i use obsidian but if i needed open source for md i would use zed or one of the numerous markdown editors on my machine.

The file could have .mkdn as an ending!
Differentiator from projects like silver bullet seems to be the inclusion of a chatbot if I'm reading this correctly? Not something I want but if that's how you work, go for it.
