Absolutely no AI-generated content is allowed! I know it has become quite difficult to tell whether or not something is AI-generated or not, but please make sure that whatever you post is not AI-generated. If it is, your post will be removed. If you continously post AI-generated content, you'll be banned from /c/birding (but it's obviously okay if you post AI-generated stuff once or twice without knowing you did so).
Please provide rough information location, if possible. This is a more loosely-enforced rule, especially because it is sometimes not possible to provide a location. But if you post a photo you took yourself, please provide a rough location and date of the sighting.

Beautiful birds.... But they're annoying 4:00 am "come fuck me" calls make me want to reach for s shotgun.

Personally I think robins are much worse morning call birds. Those beautiful orange fuckers are the first to start chirping.
The robins here literally wake me up with how much noise they make in the birdbath that's right below our bedroom window. How do they bathe so much more loudly than any other bird?
How many shots per second is that?
I used a pre-shot feature to get this, if you know what that is. With my budget lens it only allows me 25fps. If I had a better lens I could get 50fps.
So, shooting into a RAM buffer as soon as the shutter is half-pressed, or as soon as focus is locked? Also, how does the lens play a role? The shutter is inside the camera and probably does not engage in fast burst mode anyway.
Yes exactly, shots are cached in the buffer and stored permanently when the shutter button is completely depressed. The specific mode I used is reliant on quick autofocus. The lens determines how quick the autofocus capabilities are. If I used a mode with static focus I could shoot 120fps.
Would you mind explaining what you mean by not having enough frame?
I wish I had more area for the blue jay to move into on the left side of the frame. I could have more frames of the jay to add to this photo. IIRC the jay was positioned more in the middle of my viewfinder and flew the path in the photo. I should have placed the jay in the lower right hand corner of my viewfinder so I had more photos of it to add here.
