Linux
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

How's battery life?
My surface is at 84%battery life so it's not great to start, but I can get 3.5-4 hours out of it.
I might have access to Surface, so I will Dave it for future referencje. By the way what distros work well with Surface?
I'm using fedora KDE with the surface-kernel I know that Nobara Linux works as well. I believe cachyOS works, as well as a couple others.
I installed ublue Aurora, an immutable distro that comes with an optional surface kernel as well. Rally like it so far.
In used that on my Chromebook once! It worked alright but it would have been better on a more powerful machine.
It's a pretty good experience, but I will say that KDE's stylus calibration leaves much to be desired. Windows lets you add as many calibration points as you desire through a comment. KDE on Wayland doesn't support non linear calibration yet.
What's the little cat thing?
