For quite some time now, I’ve been trying to rely almost exclusively on ESPHome, both through my own setups and with products from the community and honestly, it just works.
No bloated software cluttering up the network, everything is highly customizable, and you can decide exactly how far you want to go. For example, adding a Bluetooth Proxy to a light bulb is incredibly simple, but if you don’t need it, you can leave it out just as easily. And the best part? With every update, the ecosystem somehow feels even better.
A few products I especially want to highlight to support the developers behind them:
Sensy One E1 Pro mmWave Sensor: Definitely check out the Zone Editor as well, it’s seriously impressive.
DeskUp Pro: I’ve been using it for a few days now to control my standing desk height and it’s fantastic.
