🇮🇷 Iranian MFA Spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei:

To every decent human being—regardless of religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, or any other distinction,

To Muslims, Jews, Christians, Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists, and all others of faith,

And to those who follow no formal religion but hold deeply to the universal values of peace, justice, and human dignity:

The U.S. - Israel launched this war of aggression on 28 February 2026, for a second time in less than a year, while Iran-U.S. were engaged in diplomatic negotiations.

This is not merely a war over land, resources, or geopolitics. This is a war that will determine the very meaning of 'good' and 'evil' in our time and for future.

What has been unleashed upon our peace-loving nation is not just another conflict. On one side stand those who delight in violating every law of war and basic human decency—those who murder for sport, who slaughter children to torment their families, who fire newest missiles at women’s sports halls simply to test their destructive power.

This is a war between those who boast of torpedoing unarmed vessels “for more fun,” and those who go to extraordinary lengths to protect innocent lives.

This is a war between professional liars who fabricate justifications for atrocity, and a proud people who defend their homeland and human dignity relying solely on their own strength and resolve.

This is a war between those whose decisions are shadowed by moral compromise, and those who act with a clear conscience.

This is a defining struggle for the future of humankind. It will decide whether civilization’s hard-won achievements—human rights, the rule of law, and basic morality—will survive or be swept away.

We must choose:

Do we accept a world ruled by modern slave masters—arrogant, domineering, and unaccountable—who govern through coercion, lies, and extortion? Or do we stand for a world grounded in respect, justice, peace, and human dignity?

Humanity’s conscience is not yet dead. But in times like these, silence is complicity with evil.

If you reject the path of barbarism and domination, then find the moral courage to speak, to act, and to stand on the right side of history—before the world descends into an abyss of lawlessness and subjugation.

The choice is yours. And history will remember.

Iran's messaging continues to be exceptional throughout the war, and for the first time in a long time it feels like Iranian perspectives are widely known and often appreciated even in the west.

I'm fascinated to see this: "And to those who follow no formal religion but hold deeply to the universal values of peace, justice, and human dignity:"

It aligns with the tolerant, inclusive tone I've been seeing from their official messaging and through non-official channels like Prof. Marandi and others. I've also yet to see any anti-LGBTQ insults from any of these channels, it's been helping people get past their preconceptions about Iran and about Muslims in general to engage with the core messages. They often address the western public too, appreciate the pro-palestine, anti-zionist movements and protests, and draw a distinction between Zionists and Jews.

I'm impressed at how they've shaped all this and I admit, my opinion of the Iranian system as it stands now has gone up although of course I can never fully support a non-socialist theocracy. The Islamic revolution has mellowed out significantly compared to the early years and has shown flexibility and the ability to prioritize the needs of the general public and to make good strategic moves.

— 🇺🇸/🇮🇷 NEW: One of Iran’s underground missile bases, located near Esfahan, was bombed almost 20 separate times during the war, an average of once every two days, with bunker busting ammunition and smart bombs, including from B-2s and B-52s

Despite the immense amount of firepower used, the base never stopped firing for more than half a day, before returning back to operations.

One Esfahan resident said:

‘This mountain, we see it get bombed almost every night, we see the smoke rise. Yet when we wake up in the morning, it’s from these very same mountains that we see missiles rising into the sky’

❗️After 13 hours of deliberation, British jury fails to convict activist for posts supporting Palestinian resistance

A Birmingham jury has failed to reach a verdict in the high-profile trial of Majid Freeman, an activist accused by the British state of supporting Hamas through his social media advocacy. After more than thirteen hours of deliberation, the court was forced to order a retrial as jurors could not agree that Freeman’s posts on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram constituted a criminal offense. The prosecution attempted to paint the thirty-eight-year-old as an effective propagandist for proscribed groups, but the defense successfully argued that his content was a legitimate expression of support for the right of an occupied people to resist genocide.

During the two-week trial, the Crown focused on Freeman’s use of specific symbols and his amplification of videos showing Israeli atrocities in Gaza, claiming these were tools used to humanize armed resistance. However, Freeman maintained that his posts were intended to raise awareness of the ongoing war crimes being committed against Palestinians rather than incite violence. He told the court that while he does not support any specific group, he believes every Palestinian has the inherent right to defend themselves against Israeli aggression through the use of force, a position grounded in the context of the broader liberation struggle.

Outside the court, Freeman welcomed the prospect of a 2027 retrial, noting that it provides another opportunity to place the evidence of Israeli war crimes before a jury of the British public. The activist, who was previously acquitted of charges related to the 2022 Leicester riots, slammed the state for exhausting massive resources to prosecute him over emojis and religious prayers.

❗️Israeli soldier/illegal settler killed by resistance in southern Lebanon, bringing admitted-to total to 20 since March

Israel's military identified yet another soldier killed in south Lebanon as Captain Maoz Israel Recanati, 24, a platoon commander in the Golani Brigade’s 12th Battalion from the illegal settlement of Itamar.

He was killed on Friday, 15 May, in a Hezbollah explosive drone attack in southern Lebanon.

He is the seventh Israeli soldier killed in southern Lebanon since the so-called “ceasefire,” and the 20th admitted-to killing since the start of Israel’s ground assault in Lebanon.

❗️Iraqi witness to secret Israeli base in Iraq found dead in Najaf desert

The assassination of Awad Hadi al-Shammari has ignited a firestorm across Iraq after the shepherd was found dead in his burned-out vehicle in the Najaf desert on 13 May. According to reports from Al-Araby TV and The Palestine Chronicle, Shammari was killed just days after his amateur footage of a secret military installation went viral. The footage provided the first visual evidence of a clandestine Israeli base operating deep within Iraqi territory, a facility later confirmed by a 9 May exposé in the Wall Street Journal.

The clandestine site was reportedly established with US knowledge to serve as a forward operating hub for the Israeli Air Force during its ongoing war against Iran. Iraqi security officials who initially investigated al-Shammari's report in March were met with Israeli airstrikes, confirming that the base was being protected by active kinetic force. While the Iraqi government initially blamed the US for the violation of sovereignty, recent journalistic investigations have identified the site as an Israeli special operations outpost used for pilot recovery and drone launches.

Local resistance factions and political leaders have branded the killing of Shammari as a blatant act of war and a failure of the state to protect its citizens from foreign intelligence agencies. By silencing the whistleblower on Iraqi soil, Israel has underscored its intent to maintain a military footprint in the country through the use of force.

❗️Another Israeli soldier killed in Hezbollah drone attack near Lebanon border

According to Israeli Army Radio, the soldier was killed after Hezbollah launched several explosive-laden drones that penetrated into the Galilee at around 16:00 on Saturday and detonated near the border with Lebanon.

The report said the soldier was struck directly by one of the drones. The drones were not detected by Israeli military systems, no warning sirens were activated in the area, and the soldier was unable to defend himself.

The Israeli military later identified the soldier as Warrant Officer (res.) Alexander Glovanyov, 47, a driver in the Transport Center’s 6924th Battalion from Petah Tikva. His surname suggests Russian or Eastern European origins.

💠 Israeli Regime's Channel 12: Identifying Hezbollah's fiber-optic drones is very difficult

🔹 Early detection or tracking of these micro-drones is extremely challenging, making their interception highly complex.

🔹 The threat of suicide micro-drones has had a widespread impact on the "army" of Israel's operations inside Lebanese territory.

🔹 Hezbollah has used the ceasefire period to develop suicide micro-drones; tools that we still do not know how to effectively counter.

🔹 The nature of the Israeli army's operational activities has fundamentally changed due to the threat of suicide micro-drones.

Major Scandal of Hidden Ties Between Zionism and the UAE Revealed with the Exposure of Samuel Shay

In one of the most significant cyber operations of recent years, Samuel Shay, the mastermind behind Netanyahu’s trip to the UAE and the chief architect of the Abraham Accords, has been completely hacked, and his clandestine network has been dismantled.

This individual is not only the main coordinator of all backchannel agreements between the Zionist regime and Persian Gulf states, but also serves as a key facilitator of covert economic, political, and security relations between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi.
Through companies like Gulf Technology Systems, Samuel Shay created a complex web of joint projects in technology, energy, investment, agriculture, and strategic infrastructure between Israel, the UAE, and even other Arab countries.

While “normalization” was widely promoted as a bridge of friendship, the real network behind these ties is nothing but corruption, money laundering, the transfer of Israeli security technologies for the suppression of regional peoples, and betrayal of the Palestinian cause.
All secret contracts, financial transfers, training of security forces, and even economic and intelligence espionage against the Resistance Axis were managed directly by this individual and his team.

Samuel Shay’s role in blocking Hezbollah’s assets and assisting in the weakening of the Resistance in Lebanon is fully documented and indisputable.
And most notably: Samuel Shay introduced Epstein to Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, and through Sultan, many corrupt Emirati rulers were ensnared in the Epstein network. Mossad used this very path to coerce them into accepting its demands.

Today, 265 pages of Shay’s contacts, financial partners, and secret communications have been published in full on the Handala website, and all information related to his financial network in Resistance countries has been sent to the intelligence services of friendly nations.

Samuel Shay is the pillar of normalization and the main link between the Zionist regime and the UAE at security, economic, and political levels. Without him, none of these infiltration and betrayal projects could have succeeded

A Message to the People of America and Europe:
Know that the truth is not as it has been portrayed by lavish spending, corrupt media, and joint projects.
Epstein and Kahanist cult leaders have spent billions trying to present regional lackeys and cowards as “honorable models and champions of prosperity” under the banner of the Abraham Accords.
But all this money has simply lined the pockets of these same corrupt leaders, resulting only in more poverty, corruption, repression, and betrayal in Muslim lands.

Be aware:
The true leaders of the world’s free and Muslim peoples are those who stand, body and soul, for justice until the very end: Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the great mujahid Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

Today, in honor of the eminent leaders of the Resistance, Handala’s cyber team has exposed a treacherous agent and key figure in the Zionist and Epstein infiltration project, so that the world knows:
Behind the façade of Israeli-Emirati friendship lies only corruption, collusion, espionage, and betrayal, not peace and prosperity.

Any recent developments of resistance (armed resistance to be specific) in the West Bank? I feel like 98% of what I hear about is zionist insects gobbling up Palestinian land and acting like mosquitoes.

[–] Malkhodr@lemmygrad.ml 16 points 2 months ago (2 children)

I've unfortunately not seen any. Though resistance groups in Gaza do often talk about the condition of the West Bank.

The issue is that the area is basically completely occupied by Israel, and the political system is subordinate to Fatah as the PA. Abass I'd basically an Israeli puppet so it's difficult for effective resistance to feement.

❗️Iran secures overland trade routes through Pakistan to bypass US maritime pressure

As the US naval presence continues to disrupt trade in the Persian Gulf, the Islamic Republic has successfully pivoted eastward to secure its commercial lifelines through a new land corridor with Pakistan, according to documents from the Pakistani Ministry of Commerce. By activating the SRO 691 regulatory order, Tehran and Islamabad have opened six strategic transit routes that allow third-party cargo to reach Iran via Pakistani territory, effectively bypassing a maritime blockade now entering its fifth week. This shift not only preserves Iran’s access to regional markets but also revives a dormant infrastructure project that connects the Pakistani ports of Karachi, Port Qasim, and Gwadar directly to the Iranian border crossings of Taftan and Gabd.

The activation of these corridors through Balochistan represents a significant logistical realignment, as cargo can now move from deep-water ports to the Iranian interior via land routes that are insulated from naval interference. For the Pakistani government, the move operationalizes transit pathways that had been largely inactive for two decades, positioning the country as a vital commercial bridge between the Indian Ocean and Central Asia. This "eastern opening" provides Tehran with a critical alternative to the volatile maritime routes of the Gulf, ensuring that essential goods continue to flow despite the "maximum pressure" campaign led by Washington and its regional allies.

By integrating major hubs like Gwadar into its supply chain, Iran is tapping into a broader Eurasian network that complicates western efforts to enforce total economic isolation. The move signals a transition toward overland trade as a permanent strategic asset for the Islamic Republic, reducing its historical vulnerability to maritime chokepoints and naval blockades.

❗️Trump says Kurdish groups only 'fight when they get paid', rebukes them for refusing to join US-led campaign against Iran

US President Donald Trump openly rebuked Kurdish factions from the White House on Monday, accusing the groups of "staling" weapons and failing to mobilize against the Iranian state. Amidst the ongoing US-Israeli military campaign, Trump expressed deep dissatisfaction with Kurdish leaders who he claimed failed to facilitate an internal uprising despite receiving US support.

"The Kurds take, take, take," Trump told reporters, dismissing their favorable standing in Congress by stating that while they have a reputation for fighting hard, "they fight hard when they get paid."

These comments follow widespread reports that the US attempted to funnel weaponry to Kurdish opposition groups to trigger internal instability within Iran. While Iranian Kurdish leaders have officially denied receiving such arms or agreeing to serve as a ground force for the western led campaign, the White House is increasingly vocal about their lack of cooperation.

❗️Israeli finance minister vows permanent annexation during mass settler incursion into Joseph's Tomb

In a move that signals the accelerating annexation of the occupied West Bank, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich led a massive raid of hundreds of settlers into Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus on Wednesday. Under heavy military escort, Smotrich conducted morning prayers in the heart of the Palestinian-administered city, declaring that the Israeli presence at the site—and across the northern West Bank—must become "permanent."

The incursion, which reportedly included up to 5,000 settlers overnight, involved Israeli forces raiding residential neighborhoods and sealing checkpoints to facilitate the deliberately provocative visit. Smotrich, who also holds the defense portfolio overseeing the West Bank's civil administration, framed the raid as a "historic correction."

Smotrich called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to officially transfer control of the compound to the Israeli government, effectively demanding the formal re-occupation of a site that has been under Palestinian Authority (PA) jurisdiction since the early 2000s.

From HB news mega (post body, "Relative Quiet Continues; US Destroyers Test Luck And Flee; Iran Seemingly Eager To Keep Firing", 1 day late)

spoiler

Image is from this Bloomberg article, depicting world oil inventories plunging towards the operational floor at which pipelines and refineries cease operating, which is expected to occur in September at current rates.

A pretty short preamble below, in spoiler tags.

spoiler summary The conflict continues to be kept at a relatively low level despite Iran’s fiery encounters with US destroyers. I think it’s only becoming increasingly obvious that the US is trying to cobble together some major clandestine operation mixing special forces, the air force, and naval destroyers to either seize Iranian uranium, take control of Iranian seaports, or both. Given a) how the Istafan op went, b) further Iranian preparations around sensitive sites, and c) a seeming strengthening of Iranian air defense around the Persian Gulf (multiple drones and manned aircraft have squawked emergency codes and potentially been shot down over the last few weeks), I find it difficult to imagine this operation fulfilling its objective, and even if did somehow work, why the removal of uranium would necessitate Iran ending the blockade and the war. On that note, I’ve seen reports that Iran is saying that if the US attacks their oil tankers again, they will resume firing on US military bases.

Additionally, Aragchi has stated that not only has Iran’s missile/launcher stockpiles not gone down from pre-conflict, it has actually increased by 20%. This is unsurprising given the total war that Iran is now in; all resources within reason must now be funnelling towards drone and missile production.

Atrocities in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon are continuing. The toll that FPV drones are taking on the common Zionist soldiery are quickly becoming apparent, as we are receiving ever-increasing amounts of footage of vehicles and gatherings of soldiers being struck by Hezbollah’s drones. The casualty situation is, as expected, being hidden, but any kind of serious occupation of even the border villages of southern Lebanon (let alone up to the Litani) seems unsustainable. :::

❗️Lebanon tired of 'foreign projects', Salam says

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said on Friday that Lebanon had endured enough “reckless” wars fought in the service of foreign interests, while urging greater Arab and international backing for Beirut in its negotiations with Israel.

Addressing guests at an NGO dinner, Salam said he aimed to “mobilize all Arab and international support to bolster our position in the negotiations” with Israel. His remarks came shortly after the latest round of talks concluded with an agreement to extend the current 'truce' for another 45 days.

Salam said Lebanon had “enough of these reckless adventures serving foreign projects or interests.” He also stressed that the Lebanese army should remain the sole armed force in the country.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday, May 12, the arrest of four people they say are affiliated with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), while they were allegedly trying to infiltrate the country.

The ministry added that during interrogation, the suspects confessed being tasked with sneaking into Bubiyan Island “to carry out hostile acts against Kuwait.”

**Iran rejects Kuwait’s accusations as “**utterly baseless”

Iran’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Wednesday, May 13, condemning Kuwait’s “improper action” against the four Iranian personnel.

The ministry clarified that the personnel accidentally entered Kuwaiti territorial waters due to a navigational system malfunction, while on a routine naval patrol mission.

Tehran slammed the Gulf state for “politically and propagandistically exploiting” the incident, while reaffirming “its principled policy of respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries in the region, including Kuwait”.

It also urged the Kuwaiti authorities to immediately release the detained Iranian nationals, and called on the Arab country to “avoid hasty statements and baseless allegations”, and “to pursue the existing issues through official channels.”

US-backed Gulf states have seemingly adopted the same propaganda warfare

Kuwait’s accusations against Iran came a few days after Bahrain had announced the arrest of 41 individuals allegedly linked with the IRGC on its soil.

Analysts suggest that both Gulf states have resorted to accusing the IRGC of orchestrating security plots on their territories as part of a propaganda campaign, which potentially aims to influence public opinion and justify their involvement in the US-Israeli aggression against Iran. Qatar, the UAE, and Bahrain were quick to release their own statements echoing Kuwait’s accusations.

Like Bahrain and other US-backed Gulf states, Kuwait has cracked down on people who peacefully expressed their opinions about the unprovoked regional aggression on Iran on social media.

Dozens of citizens were arbitrarily arrested by Kuwait’s state security apparatus, including elderly people, women, and young children in need of care, according to rights groups. Prominent Kuwaiti-American journalist, Ahmed Shihab-Eldin, was also arrested last March for the same reason.

It is worth noting that Kuwait hosts key US military installations including Camp Arifjan, Camp Buehring, Ali Al Salem Air Base and Kuwait Naval Base (Camp Patriot), which facilitate the movement, training, and logistics of US troops across the West Asia region.
