They are teaching how to handle a gun on Iran’s national TV.

This could mean that Iran is expecting a ground war and is therefore teaching the general population the basics.

PS: The anchor, while being taught to handle a gun, did a live shot aiming at the UAE flag :)

Any recent developments of resistance (armed resistance to be specific) in the West Bank? I feel like 98% of what I hear about is zionist insects gobbling up Palestinian land and acting like mosquitoes.

[–] Malkhodr@lemmygrad.ml 8 points 7 hours ago

I've unfortunately not seen any. Though resistance groups in Gaza do often talk about the condition of the West Bank.

The issue is that the area is basically completely occupied by Israel, and the political system is subordinate to Fatah as the PA. Abass I'd basically an Israeli puppet so it's difficult for effective resistance to feement.

❗️Iran secures overland trade routes through Pakistan to bypass US maritime pressure

As the US naval presence continues to disrupt trade in the Persian Gulf, the Islamic Republic has successfully pivoted eastward to secure its commercial lifelines through a new land corridor with Pakistan, according to documents from the Pakistani Ministry of Commerce. By activating the SRO 691 regulatory order, Tehran and Islamabad have opened six strategic transit routes that allow third-party cargo to reach Iran via Pakistani territory, effectively bypassing a maritime blockade now entering its fifth week. This shift not only preserves Iran’s access to regional markets but also revives a dormant infrastructure project that connects the Pakistani ports of Karachi, Port Qasim, and Gwadar directly to the Iranian border crossings of Taftan and Gabd.

The activation of these corridors through Balochistan represents a significant logistical realignment, as cargo can now move from deep-water ports to the Iranian interior via land routes that are insulated from naval interference. For the Pakistani government, the move operationalizes transit pathways that had been largely inactive for two decades, positioning the country as a vital commercial bridge between the Indian Ocean and Central Asia. This "eastern opening" provides Tehran with a critical alternative to the volatile maritime routes of the Gulf, ensuring that essential goods continue to flow despite the "maximum pressure" campaign led by Washington and its regional allies.

By integrating major hubs like Gwadar into its supply chain, Iran is tapping into a broader Eurasian network that complicates western efforts to enforce total economic isolation. The move signals a transition toward overland trade as a permanent strategic asset for the Islamic Republic, reducing its historical vulnerability to maritime chokepoints and naval blockades.

❗️Excerpts from Hamas's statement on the 78th anniversary of the Nakba:

  • "On the 78th anniversary of the Nakba: There is no legitimacy and no sovereignty for the occupation over the land of Palestine, no matter how much time passes or how great the sacrifices; we call on the world to criminalize the occupation, work to stop its terrorism against our land, our people, and our holy sites, and enable our people to attain their legitimate rights and establish their independent state with Jerusalem as Its capital."

  • "For 78 years, the great Palestinian people have remained steadfast on their land, holding firmly to their rights and national principles, defending their identity and holy sites, and presenting at every stage of the conflict with the enemy the finest examples of heroism, sacrifice, patience, jihad, and selflessness. All attempts by the occupation, despite the passing years, to reshape Palestinian consciousness, undermine resistance, erase the cause, and consign it to oblivion have ended in complete failure."

  • "The crime of displacing our people from their land 78 years ago, under the weight of massacres and systematic terrorism, was a horrific and unprecedented crime in modern history and a blatant violation of all values, laws, conventions, and norms. It is the same policy that the fascist occupation government continues to carry out today in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and occupied Jerusalem before the eyes of the world, without any real action to stop this terrorism, which has gone beyond the borders of Palestine and has become a genuine threat to the security and stability of the region and the world."

  • "There is no legitimacy and no sovereignty for the Zionist occupation over our blessed historic land, foremost among it Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, the central titles of the conflict with the enemy. The occupation will not succeed in erasing their features or Judaizing them. The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque was, and will remain, purely Islamic, and our people will continue to hold firmly to Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Palestine. They will not allow the facts of history and reality to be altered and will sacrifice their lives and souls for their liberation."

  • "Resistance in all its forms is a natural and legitimate right guaranteed by international conventions, laws, and divine teachings to peoples living under occupation. The weapons of resistance in Palestine are inseparably linked to the existence of the occupation, and any talk of disarming the resistance while the occupation and its crimes persist constitutes alignment with the enemy’s agenda to impose its control, entrench its aggression, and erase the essence of our just cause."

  • "The foundation of the conflict in the region is the existence of the Zionist occupation on the land of Palestine. The continuation of its aggression and uninterrupted crimes over 78 years is a stain of shame on the foreheads of all those who remain silent or fail to criminalize it, expose it, and prosecute its leaders. Bias toward the occupation and the policy of double standards adopted by some countries in dealing with our just cause is a grave sin. We call on them to reverse this course and enable our people to secure their rights, determine their destiny, and end the occupation.

❗️Statement Issued by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) Movement on the 78th Anniversary of the Nakba

"The 78th anniversary of the Nakba comes this year amid the escalating American-Zionist aggression against our nation, at the heart of which is Palestine, in unrelenting attempts to impose hegemony and control over our Arab and Islamic homeland, and to expand the occupation at the expense of the peoples of our region, especially in Syria and Lebanon, while threatening Arab and Islamic national security, particularly in Jordan, Egypt, and the Gulf states.

This confirms that the Zionist project in Palestine does not target Palestine alone, with its borders and people, but rather targets the entire Arab and Islamic nation. The statements of the leaders and criminals of the usurping entity, through their repeated declarations about expanding the scope of the occupation, extending regional dominance, and establishing what they call “Greater Israel,” confirm the dimensions of these dangers at the Arab and Islamic levels.

In occupied Palestine, the war criminals in the government of the entity and its army continue to commit all forms of war crimes and crimes against humanity by persisting in the war of extermination against our people in Gaza, repudiating all agreements, continuing the policy of siege, imposing facts on the ground, and maintaining constant threats of war. They also continue to commit crimes against civilians among our people in the West Bank and in the occupied interior, including assaults on innocent people, homes, and property, and the desecration of Islamic and Christian holy sites, foremost among them the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

This reaches its peak today in the desecration of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the repeated chants hostile to Arabs and Muslims, with the full support of the Zionist government and its security apparatuses, and with the participation of government ministers and members of the Knesset, in further insult to Islamic holy sites and in continuation of plans to drag the entire region into a religious war to satisfy sick delusions rooted in Talmudic myths and distorted biblical fantasies.

Amid all of this, the criminal entity continues to wage war against the refugees of our people, even inside their camps in host countries, through continuous incitement against them and ongoing efforts to end the work of UNRWA and erase the issue of return and refugees.

On the 78th anniversary of the Nakba, we affirm the following:

First: The Zionist project is an imminent danger to all the peoples and states of our region. Therefore, confronting this project is a religious, national, and moral duty, and everyone must assume their full responsibility in repelling the danger posed by this criminal entity.

Second: We affirm that the Zionist entity, despite all the crimes, aggressive practices, massacres, and war of extermination committed against our people and the peoples of our nation, is living through a profound existential crisis that none of these practices will save it from, thanks to the steadfastness of the forces of resistance in all arenas. On this occasion, we extend our thanks to all the mujahideen in every arena—in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq—and foremost among them the Islamic Republic of Iran, with its courageous people, wise leadership, and strong government.

Third: We renew our call to all sincere and free people from among the sons and daughters of our nation and the world to continue showing solidarity, exposing the criminal practices of the usurping entity and its sponsors in the US administration, and condemning those who remain silent, passive, or complicit with the entity and its schemes against our holy sites and the peoples of our nation."

❗️Germany aligns with Trump to demand Iranian concessions and Hormuz reopening

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has signaled a tightening of the transatlantic axis following a high level discussion with US President Donald Trump today. While returning from China, Merz echoed Washington’s aggressive stance by demanding that Tehran immediately return to the negotiating table. The Chancellor linked these diplomatic pressures to a categorical demand that Iran cease its disruption of maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical chokepoint for global energy security.

The coordinated messaging from Berlin and Washington emphasizes a shared strategy to prevent Iranian nuclear development through renewed economic and political coercion. Merz framed the discussion as a unified front, asserting that both leaders are in lockstep regarding the necessity of Iranian submission. This alignment marks a significant hardening of the German position as the west seeks to reassert control over West Asia shipping lanes.

Beyond regional tensions, the dialogue covered strategic synchronization ahead of the upcoming NATO summit in Ankara. Merz confirmed that Germany remains a subordinate yet primary partner in the US led efforts to dictate terms in both the Ukraine war and the Persian Gulf. By centering these discussions on Trump’s current agenda, Berlin is positioning itself as one of the key European enforcers for the White House’s global objectives.

❗️Syria plans to replace central bank governor

Syria’s government is preparing to replace central bank governor Abdelkader Husriyeh with Safwat Raslan, the head of the Syrian Development Fund, according to two sources in the Syrian banking sector to Reuters.

Raslan, a former banker who left Syria as a refugee and later acquired German citizenship, is expected to take the role.

Husriyeh was appointed central bank governor by self-appointed President Ahmed al-Sharaa in April 2025. During his time in office, Syria completed its first international bank transfer through the SWIFT system since 2011.

Raslan became director-general of the Syrian Development Fund in 2025. The fund was established as a state-backed mechanism to mobilize financing for reconstruction and development projects.

❗️Israeli Finance Minister and Religious Zionism Party leader Bezalel Smotrich:

“The next stage in the settlement revolution must be the cancellation of the Oslo Accords.

Yesterday, on Jerusalem Day, I said at the Mercaz HaRav gathering that while our enemies rise up to destroy us, our Zionist response must be decisive: to continue developing the areas of our homeland in Judea and Samaria in a way that guarantees Israel’s security for generations to come.

This week, I placed on the cabinet table a detailed plan to transfer strategic areas in Judea and Samaria from Areas A and B to Area C, and I call on the prime minister and the cabinet to implement it.

This is an important step not only for the residents of Judea and Samaria, but for the entire State of Israel. Only in this way will we prevent the next massacre in Kfar Saba, Rosh HaAyin, and Modi’in.

We will continue to effectively kill the idea of a Palestinian state and the establishment of a capital of terrorism in the heart of our country.”

❗️Iraq’s new PM pledges state control over weapons

Iraq’s new Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi pledged to ensure that weapons remain exclusively under state authority, according to the INA state news agency.

In the government program submitted to parliament, Zaidi outlined plans to “reforming the security apparatus by restricting weapons to state control and strengthening the capabilities of the security forces,” INA cited the parliament media office as saying.

Zaidi took the oath of office on Thursday with an incomplete cabinet after lawmakers were unable to agree on several major positions, including the ministries of interior and defense.

Lawmakers told Reuters that Basim Mohammad was named Iraq’s new oil minister, while Fuad Hussein retained his role as foreign minister in the incoming administration.

Parliament approved 14 ministers in total, though disagreements prevented consensus on a number of remaining positions, among them the interior and defense ministries.

❗️Israel continues to exploit Damascus vacuum to intensify strikes on southern Syria

Israeli artillery shelling pounded the western countryside of Daraa today as it continues to treat the Syrian frontier as its personal expansion zone. The strikes targeted the outskirts of Jamla in the Yarmouk Basin while reconnaissance drones violated Syrian airspace with total impunity, terrorizing local residents and striking agricultural lands. This latest aggression highlights a systemic effort by the Israeli military to solidify its territorial gains after unilaterally discarding the 1974 Disengagement Agreement and moving deeper into the sovereign territory of its northern neighbor.

The current administration under Syria’s unelected President Ahmed al-Sharaa appears unwilling to halt the incursions, with the president admitting that negotiations have stalled over Israeli demands for a permanent military presence on Syrian soil. Despite the current leadership’s attempt to signal its lack of hostility toward Israel, the Israeli military has responded with a relentless campaign of airstrikes and shelling since the transition in Damascus, according to reports from state news agency SANA.

The ongoing destruction of military equipment and civilian sites reveals a strategy of ensuring Syria remains strategically impotent while the occupation forces entrench themselves along the border. As Israeli forces expand their footprint in the so-called buffer zone and beyond, the current leadership in Damascus faces growing scrutiny for its inability to deter foreign aggression or protect the integrity of the Syrian state from regional expansionism.

Honestly the only thing that I think is keeping Israel from taking Syria is Hezbollah and Iran. They're already over extended, to go further into Syria would just worsen the crisis.

❗️Beirut signals strategic shift toward regional integration with Tripoli to Syria border railway project

Lebanon has officially initiated a tender process to rehabilitate the vital railway link between Tripoli and the Syrian border, marking a significant step toward reclaiming its role as a Mediterranean logistics gateway. Transport Minister Fayez Rasamny announced the revival of the Tripoli-Abboudieh line during a high level visit to the Port of Tripoli, emphasizing that the project is a cornerstone for connecting Lebanon to broader regional networks spanning Syria, Turkiye, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. The move signifies a shift toward infrastructure led diplomacy, as Beirut looks to integrate into the reconstruction and transport corridors currently reshaping the Levant.

The project aims to modernize a rail network that has been largely dormant since the onset of the civil war in 1975, with updated technical frameworks expected to be finalized within six months. By linking the Port of Tripoli directly to the Syrian hinterland, the government expects to dramatically reduce transportation costs and enhance the port’s competitiveness against regional rivals. Officials from the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce and the Railway Authority underscored that the line is not merely for freight but will eventually facilitate passenger travel, serving as a catalyst for economic development.

While the feasibility of the project is bolstered by the port's growing capacity and the proximity of the Rene Mouawad Airport, its success remains tethered to the fragile security environment. Minister Rasamny acknowledged that regional stability is the essential prerequisite for attracting the private sector investment required for such large scale infrastructure.

https://t.me/thecradlemedia/59691

The only chance there is for a stable diplomatic process between Lebanon and Syria is if both puppet regimes are deposed. Otherwise it's nothing but posturing.

  2. Lifting all sanctions.

  4. Compensating for war damages and losses.
  5. Recognition of Iran’s sovereign right over the Strait of Hormuz

Major Scandal of Hidden Ties Between Zionism and the UAE Revealed with the Exposure of Samuel Shay

In one of the most significant cyber operations of recent years, Samuel Shay, the mastermind behind Netanyahu’s trip to the UAE and the chief architect of the Abraham Accords, has been completely hacked, and his clandestine network has been dismantled.

This individual is not only the main coordinator of all backchannel agreements between the Zionist regime and Persian Gulf states, but also serves as a key facilitator of covert economic, political, and security relations between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi.
Through companies like Gulf Technology Systems, Samuel Shay created a complex web of joint projects in technology, energy, investment, agriculture, and strategic infrastructure between Israel, the UAE, and even other Arab countries.

While “normalization” was widely promoted as a bridge of friendship, the real network behind these ties is nothing but corruption, money laundering, the transfer of Israeli security technologies for the suppression of regional peoples, and betrayal of the Palestinian cause.
All secret contracts, financial transfers, training of security forces, and even economic and intelligence espionage against the Resistance Axis were managed directly by this individual and his team.

Samuel Shay’s role in blocking Hezbollah’s assets and assisting in the weakening of the Resistance in Lebanon is fully documented and indisputable.
And most notably: Samuel Shay introduced Epstein to Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, and through Sultan, many corrupt Emirati rulers were ensnared in the Epstein network. Mossad used this very path to coerce them into accepting its demands.

Today, 265 pages of Shay’s contacts, financial partners, and secret communications have been published in full on the Handala website, and all information related to his financial network in Resistance countries has been sent to the intelligence services of friendly nations.

Samuel Shay is the pillar of normalization and the main link between the Zionist regime and the UAE at security, economic, and political levels. Without him, none of these infiltration and betrayal projects could have succeeded

A Message to the People of America and Europe:
Know that the truth is not as it has been portrayed by lavish spending, corrupt media, and joint projects.
Epstein and Kahanist cult leaders have spent billions trying to present regional lackeys and cowards as “honorable models and champions of prosperity” under the banner of the Abraham Accords.
But all this money has simply lined the pockets of these same corrupt leaders, resulting only in more poverty, corruption, repression, and betrayal in Muslim lands.

Be aware:
The true leaders of the world’s free and Muslim peoples are those who stand, body and soul, for justice until the very end: Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the great mujahid Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

Today, in honor of the eminent leaders of the Resistance, Handala’s cyber team has exposed a treacherous agent and key figure in the Zionist and Epstein infiltration project, so that the world knows:
Behind the façade of Israeli-Emirati friendship lies only corruption, collusion, espionage, and betrayal, not peace and prosperity.

❗️Iraqi witness to secret Israeli base in Iraq found dead in Najaf desert

The assassination of Awad Hadi al-Shammari has ignited a firestorm across Iraq after the shepherd was found dead in his burned-out vehicle in the Najaf desert on 13 May. According to reports from Al-Araby TV and The Palestine Chronicle, Shammari was killed just days after his amateur footage of a secret military installation went viral. The footage provided the first visual evidence of a clandestine Israeli base operating deep within Iraqi territory, a facility later confirmed by a 9 May exposé in the Wall Street Journal.

The clandestine site was reportedly established with US knowledge to serve as a forward operating hub for the Israeli Air Force during its ongoing war against Iran. Iraqi security officials who initially investigated al-Shammari's report in March were met with Israeli airstrikes, confirming that the base was being protected by active kinetic force. While the Iraqi government initially blamed the US for the violation of sovereignty, recent journalistic investigations have identified the site as an Israeli special operations outpost used for pilot recovery and drone launches.

Local resistance factions and political leaders have branded the killing of Shammari as a blatant act of war and a failure of the state to protect its citizens from foreign intelligence agencies. By silencing the whistleblower on Iraqi soil, Israel has underscored its intent to maintain a military footprint in the country through the use of force.

❗️Israeli finance minister vows permanent annexation during mass settler incursion into Joseph's Tomb

In a move that signals the accelerating annexation of the occupied West Bank, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich led a massive raid of hundreds of settlers into Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus on Wednesday. Under heavy military escort, Smotrich conducted morning prayers in the heart of the Palestinian-administered city, declaring that the Israeli presence at the site—and across the northern West Bank—must become "permanent."

The incursion, which reportedly included up to 5,000 settlers overnight, involved Israeli forces raiding residential neighborhoods and sealing checkpoints to facilitate the deliberately provocative visit. Smotrich, who also holds the defense portfolio overseeing the West Bank's civil administration, framed the raid as a "historic correction."

Smotrich called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to officially transfer control of the compound to the Israeli government, effectively demanding the formal re-occupation of a site that has been under Palestinian Authority (PA) jurisdiction since the early 2000s.

❗️WFP halves food aid in Syria amid funding shortfall

The World Food Programme (WFP) said on Wednesday that it has been forced to cut emergency food assistance in Syria by half due to a lack of funding, warning that millions of people remain at risk.

The WFP said in a statement that the number of people receiving emergency food aid in Syria dropped from 1.3 million to 650,000 in May, and that its operations have been reduced across all 14 governorates to just seven.

At the same time, 7.2 million Syrians are still considered severely food insecure, including 1.6 million facing extreme hunger, according to the agency.

“The reduction in WFP’s assistance is driven solely by funding constraints, not by a decrease in needs,” WFP country director in Syria Marianne Ward said in the statement.

The agency also suspended a bread subsidy program that had supported over 300 bakeries with fortified wheat flour.

🇸🇦🇮🇷| Things are happening behind the curtains, interesting things.

Amidst all the news, suddenly Saudi Arabia has reportedly proposed a non-aggression pact with Iran.

https://t.me/FotrosResistancee/21623

[–] cfgaussian@lemmygrad.ml 15 points 1 day ago (2 children)

A non-aggression pact with Iran is incredibly simple: don't want your shit blown up, just stop letting the US or the Zionist entity use your territory and airspace to attack Iran or its allies.

[–] Commiejones@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

Its not quite simple though because the second saudi ~~america~~ arabia thinks about pushing usa out the zionists and americans will start targeting saudi oil infrastructure and blame it on Iran.

[–] cfgaussian@lemmygrad.ml 6 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

When things like that happen the governments of those states don't genuinely believe it was Iran. They know it was the US/Zionists but they go along with blaming Iran because it's currently more convenient to use it as a pretext to agitate against Iran and gain "good boy points" with the US. Some of the population may be fooled by the media but the governments have enough intelligence capabilities to recognize false flags.

If they genuinely want to get out from under the US thumb and a establish mutual understanding with Iran for regional stability and security then they will have to start calling out the real culprits.

That is how you will know if the agreement was signed in good faith or not. Whether the Saudis are willing to engage in good faith that i don't know.

[–] GracesArms@lemmygrad.ml 5 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Yes, this arguably takes a ripe asset rich target away from Iran though. Obviously hitting them for damages sake isn't good behaviour, but they've already made their bed when they let US use their country as a military base to blow up Iran. Just cause they fucked up and got their shit rocked doesn't mean Iran gains anything from this. What can Saudi do or provide that US and Israel don't already have in spades?

[–] cfgaussian@lemmygrad.ml 7 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

What can Saudi do or provide that US and Israel don't already have in spades?

Basing locations. Geographical limitations are a reality. If you cannot launch attacks from close by your options will be much more limited. If only a few of the Gulf state comprador regimes remain available to them in that region, that significantly reduces their tactical flexibility and shrinks the area to disperse/hide their assets over.

Taking Saudi Arabia out of the equation is a net advantage for Iran. There are still plenty of targets in the region without them.

[–] WalrusDragonOnABike@reddthat.com 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

And if they were to not allowing usage of airspace to attack Iran with a country, that also limits the ways the US can approach from more distant bases, potentially increasing flight lengths.

[–] KrasnaiaZvezda@lemmygrad.ml 3 points 15 hours ago

Although unless such a deal includes no radars can be active in SA during conflict it might just be a way for the empire to gain some of its vision against ballistic missiles again.

[–] prof_tincoa@lemmygrad.ml 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Simply not having US military stationed there is already a huge victory in itself, or am I missing something? Ultimately, Iran wants zero US military presence in the region, and this could be a major initial step in that direction. As long as Iran keeps bombing US allies and leaving be the neutral states, it sends a powerful message.

[2026-05-13] Peoples Dispatch – Iran rejects Kuwaiti accusation of IRGC infiltration

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Ambassador Hamad Sulaiman Al-Masha'an, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs met with Ambassador for the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Toutounji to deliver a protest note following the alleged "infiltration of an armed group associated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard into Bubiyan Island". Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday, May 12, the arrest of four people they say are affiliated with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), while they were allegedly trying to infiltrate the country.

The ministry added that during interrogation, the suspects confessed being tasked with sneaking into Bubiyan Island “to carry out hostile acts against Kuwait.”

**Iran rejects Kuwait’s accusations as “**utterly baseless”

Iran’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Wednesday, May 13, condemning Kuwait’s “improper action” against the four Iranian personnel.

The ministry clarified that the personnel accidentally entered Kuwaiti territorial waters due to a navigational system malfunction, while on a routine naval patrol mission.

Tehran slammed the Gulf state for “politically and propagandistically exploiting” the incident, while reaffirming “its principled policy of respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries in the region, including Kuwait”.

It also urged the Kuwaiti authorities to immediately release the detained Iranian nationals, and called on the Arab country to “avoid hasty statements and baseless allegations”, and “to pursue the existing issues through official channels.”

US-backed Gulf states have seemingly adopted the same propaganda warfare

Kuwait’s accusations against Iran came a few days after Bahrain had announced the arrest of 41 individuals allegedly linked with the IRGC on its soil.

Analysts suggest that both Gulf states have resorted to accusing the IRGC of orchestrating security plots on their territories as part of a propaganda campaign, which potentially aims to influence public opinion and justify their involvement in the US-Israeli aggression against Iran. Qatar, the UAE, and Bahrain were quick to release their own statements echoing Kuwait’s accusations.

Like Bahrain and other US-backed Gulf states, Kuwait has cracked down on people who peacefully expressed their opinions about the unprovoked regional aggression on Iran on social media.

Dozens of citizens were arbitrarily arrested by Kuwait’s state security apparatus, including elderly people, women, and young children in need of care, according to rights groups. Prominent Kuwaiti-American journalist, Ahmed Shihab-Eldin, was also arrested last March for the same reason.

It is worth noting that Kuwait hosts key US military installations including Camp Arifjan, Camp Buehring, Ali Al Salem Air Base and Kuwait Naval Base (Camp Patriot), which facilitate the movement, training, and logistics of US troops across the West Asia region.

💠 Political analyst from Iran:

Trump's trip to China should be considered part of the "war diplomacy" between Washington and Beijing; a war whose main field is the economy
