General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Do it, the only way Labour can regain a viable position is to return its policy to its socialist and trade union roots, the red tory wing of the party purging the left, running to the right on every issue and refusing to end their support for the perpetrators of an ongoing UN recognised genocide and instead attacking those who oppose the genocide(backbenchers and normal citizens) has destroyed the parties' position

If they don't recognise this and instead continue with their farcical 'anyone against the genocide is an antisemite' policy, and keep trying to triangulate on every issue, as well as keeping that blackhole of charisma as leader they are fucked

She needs to move back quickly to underneath the rock she climbed out from.

I applaud her for forcing the issue. They have 3 years left and Starmer is a blocker to Labour doing what they need to do to win the next election. He has to go.
