Wydra plays Zosia, one of the billions infected by the alien virus in Pluribus, and the member of the hive mind who most frequently interacts with Carol Sturka (Rhea Seehorn). Season 1 received widespread critical acclaim, became the most-watched show in Apple TV history, and it ended on a major cliffhanger with Carol bringing home a literal atomic bomb. Anticipation is high to see the successful show return, but creator and showrunner Vince Gilligan has been transparent that the series will not return annually.

In an interview with ScreenRant's Tatiana Hullender at PaleyFest, Wydra shared that season 2's filming is expected to begin during the fall of 2028. She also discussed the close bond she has with Seehorn, Samba Schutte, Carlos-Manuel Vesga, and how eager she is to be reunited with her co-stars and sharing scenes with them again. Check out Wydra's comments below:

No. I wish I did. I really do. I can't wait. So, Rhea couldn't meet us because she was working. Samba [Schutte], [Carlos-Manuel] Vesga and me, we met up for coffee yesterday and we have such a beautiful connection, the four of us, and we genuinely love each other and care about each other and we're rooting for each other, and Vince is also there, So, I cannot wait for us to be in one city, because Vesga lives in Colombia, so we don't get to see him that often. So I cannot wait for us to be together every day. So, I don't know when we're going back, but I cannot wait. I'm counting the days. We're told sometime in the fall of 2028 we should be 'running barefoot at full speed' like Vince likes to say. [Laughs]

What the fuck is with the timetables of TV shows these days?

idk but the Fallout show seems to be addressing this very obvious issue pretty well. By the time one season airs they've already begun writing and pre-production for the next. It's an industry wide phenomena but clearly not insurmountable.

If Vince actually wants to do 4-5 seasons of Pluribus it's going to take over a decade at this rate. The actors will have visually aged by then, and I guarantee you one of them will either have some sort of demonic looking plastic surgery done or get in a life-altering car accident or some shit and it will just derail the entire series.

lol. lmao, even.

I mean, that's what it fuckin' feels like at this point. Bravo, Vince.
