At baseline, you tried to make a trailer with English language text. its grammatically wrong and incoherent. Even from a very, very basic level this is just not good at all.
AI
Artificial intelligence (AI) is intelligence demonstrated by machines, unlike the natural intelligence displayed by humans and animals, which involves consciousness and emotionality. The distinction between the former and the latter categories is often revealed by the acronym chosen.
I did not have a better laugh in a while. Thank you.
I'm a bit ill at the moment so I spent yesterday lying in bed. I was bored so I loaded up Godot and a coded my own version of the game breakout, without touching AI.
Please don't preach to me about creating things, you talentless hack.
Also, I just watched the trailer and I nearly died laughing. Anthony Hopkins removed 20 women in Africa?! Also I like the bit where the reversing car managed to invert itself at the end of the shot. Great work. Amazing attention to detail. I stopped when the knight rider music started because I knew it had already peaked.
talking is easy than actually doing something.
People who have chatbots hallucinate glass houses for them shouldn't throw "doing something" stones. The reason people hate your slop is that you didn't "do something" like an artist would.
I watched your trailer and found it to be an incoherent mess.
It plays like a series of unrelated character intros with nothing tying it together. The music isn't consistent nor the voice over. No throughline to follow.
Also did you steal the music from Knight Rider? It seems to pop in randomly for one of the scenes.
I suggest you watch some movie trailers and look for how they tie it all together to make a story.
I watched the trailer
This is ass bro
Its not even bc it was made with AI, if it wasn't it would still be ass
if y’all hate it this much why you use it in your daily life
A hammer can be used to build a house.
A hammer can also be used to break every window on a house.
I don't think people on an AI community hate AI and therefore hate your project, I think they just hate the project you have made.
This is probably because there is no sensible narrative, a lack of interesting cinematography, awful music that cuts in and out at weird times, weird cuts that don't flow, no real dialogue, etc.
As a film I couldn't tell anyone what it is about or why they should watch it based on the trailer - the entire point of a trailer is to establish this.
This isn't so much poor AI as it is extremely poor film making.
Nice run-on sentence. Did AI write your post too?
For the sake of being thorough, I watch the trailer as well and can comment on that too.
The hate isn’t fake, this trailer is butt.
If it had it would be coherent
Yeah I’m pretty sure AI overuses punctuation instead of avoiding it. Lol
Your trailer would be trash no matter if it's made by AI or not. Who is going to sit through minutes of "introducing" a whole bunch of characters. Like am I supposed to take notes? Will there be a test?
I get that you are still starting out, but writing is hard and good writing is valued very highly. Did you write anything for your movie? Or were you just vibing out some characters? In a good story the characters would be introduced in a natural way. Your style might sorta work in a heist kind of movie where shit gets literally explained to someone (and thus the audience), where you can have some sort of establishing shot (perhaps with a zoom) and a voice-over (by somebody we already know) that explains something about the heist, location, procedures or related people.
If you want to make a movie, don't start with the trailer. Start with writing a story, make it a short movie and thus a short story. Then storyboard that story, see what works and what doesn't. Perhaps re-write the story in the form of a screenplay, but that could also be done at a later point in the process. Then start thinking about visuals, what to show, what not to show (often more important).
This is why so many people hate AI. It allows shortcuts that shouldn't be there. Just because the AI could generate the visuals (al be it not at a proper level in my opinion at this point), doesn't mean you can just skip the story part or the screenplay part or the direction part etc.
I'll be honest. I didn't see your trailer and have no intention to watch it, but there's already enough info here to know why it's bad in the other comments and in the tone and content your reaction.
I don't want to be overly harsh, but just look at how long your text post is here without any attempt at idea separation like sentences or paragraphs. If you don't immediately see something like that as a problem, I don't think you have the eye for detail you need to make this work.
If you still want to pursue this though, please take more ownership of the creative process. There are quite a few AI projects that actually have good overall reception. Find them, and really study what they're doing.
First of all that's 2mins it's not a movie. I'll give some feedback as if it's a trailer for a movie.
Don't introduce so many characters in the trailer just give a teaser of what the plot will be.
The shots are to similar, every shot can't be a zoom in shot of a person looking into the camera. Need to mix it up with some side shots or panning actions shots.
Blending the shots together. They should lead into each other. The timing the beat the little story you're telling it should flow from one beat to the next.
Not saying your movie will be bad, but that trailer was really bad.
Audio was all over place, no continuity, and a bunch of obvious flaws or things that don't make sense videos.
I feel like AI could potentially be used in experimental films, but you probably at a minimum need consistent character LoRAs and to use something like WAN Animate or SCAIL to get meaningful motion and reactions.
It also needs a good story of course. 8f the story if actually good, you don't need visuals and could just write a book. But poor, incoherrrent visuals could also distrace from a mediocre story too
