No shit, 1:1 the system Apple uses. You want your all in Apple App Store? Create a developer account and verify it (phonenumber, Name , Address and ID) Also pay 100$ in fee per year for the certificate. You don’t? Then verify your app in another process so that it can be sideloaded in EU and Japan, the process is also hilariously complex. That also a big no no? Then sign your app with your Apple ID that you crate at Apple that is also only valid for 7 days. You also need to enable developer mode on all the devices that want to install that app. Sounds fine, or does it?

Honestly I admire the underlying idea but it is kind of time to abandon Android Google have been cooking this up for many years and if they stop now they will try again later It's time for us to build a truly open mobile operating system and I know that's no feat and I know it'll take years but open source is the only way

Good luck being locked out from using half your apps, as they now do root checks that are becoming harder and harder to bypass.

Hehe, imagine they let you root your phone.

(Still possible with Google Pixel, Sony Xperia and OnePlus, probably also Fairphone)
