I’m confused. Was this supposed to be extra funding for ICE, on top of how the Big Beautiful Bill already gave ICE more funding than something like all but 17 of the world’s militaries?

The Big Booty Bill already gave ICE $75 billion dollars. ICE is funded for the next 4 years, and they would have been funded for that long regardless of this budget passing or not. What this headline means is that ICE didn't get even more money, on top of the $75 billion.

The Democrats lost this fight, but they're strutting around like they accomplished something. All they really accomplished was making TSA agents work for free (yay, slavery!) and making unintelligent people think they accomplished something.

Emphasis mine. ICE still gets the $75 billion dollars they already had, they just don't get to put the icing on their cake.

They get back pay after the shutdowns they just delayed their payments if at all, and dhs was it, got a lot more than 75 billion, they got 200 billion, last year. An amount higher than almost all countries militaries on the planet, I think China spends more than that now. That's about it.

Borrow and spend, the credit will be maxxed out before these clown gangsters are expelled from the government.
