Hopkins and Pryce were both perfect casting. I really liked the film.

I completely forgot Benedict existed, even though I attended Catholic school during his papacy, so reading that Francis wasn’t yet pope in 2008, for a second I thought JPII was still kicking around the Vatican during the financial crisis
