I agree that a planned drawdown would be better, but if the only chance we have of getting out of Europe is Trump angrily closing all bases via executive order, it'll have to do.
The best answer to this is all European governments expelling all US troops in one go. See if Trump likes losing a large part of the US military’s global projection powers

Yeah, it's not like those soldiers are there to benefit Germany. They may have been at one point, back when there were a bazillion soviet tanks crowding around the Fulda gap. Nowadays, they just benefit US strategic power.
