Real quick math: ~7,139 of my truck (Ford F150 lightning at 19ft 5in), so 14,278 half pickup trucks in a marathon.
Can I get it in 1984 F-250 XLTs? That's the only truck I've personally owned.
Sure. Just need some info about the options: regular or super cab, and which bumper it had. Seems like it was always the 8ft bed though.

My brother runs regularly. I k ow nothing of the world of running. It blew my mind when my brother told me that the professional marathon runner's pace is faster than my brothers sprint speed...and they maintain this constantly for hours.
Did I read that right? Did all the first three finishers in this race beat the previous world record? Cause if that happened in a movie I'd think the writers went too far, it's incredible.
Probably several beneficial factors came together just right. Good winds, clean air, good humidity, some great new equipment.
All 3 of them are pushing each other to go faster than they ever could training alone. It makes sense to me.
I'm not a big Olympics guy but I watched the long track and field race during the Paris games. The 3 medalists were on paper slower than like 4 or so guys that dropped out of the lead at the last lap. The lead guys were running faster than they ever did and then gassed out. Then the second guy fell and so on. The gold medalist never ran that fast in his life, but was able to because of competition. It happens.
I just ran a 1:34 half marathon yesterday. I genuinely can't imagine running that 34 minutes faster and then doing it again
