A long time ago, when Lemmy was new, a few people were somewhat worried the threadiverse would split due to differing leftist ideologies clashing over the matters of how far "too far" might be.

Tl;dr An anarchist.nexus admin made a comment which was perceived as a call to violence against a lemmy.world admin. The anarchist.nexus admin stepped down from their anarchist.nexus admin role but not their admin role at dbzer0.

Thank you. That's more nuanced than I initially assumed, but I personally don't think de-federating would be warranted. Not up to me though, obviously! lol

I originally tried to create an account on db0 when I first joined Lemmy, but I never got a response to my application. I had to settle for world. Guess I'll have to try again.
