His videos have officially surpassed dystopian insanity. Personally, this was the first time that a MrBeast video felt real: the contestants were not handpicked; they were whoever happened to be present at the grocery store at that exact moment. That is, mostly people from working class background struggling to make ends meet. For a pool prize of 250k, a lot quit their jobs to compete, some went completely batshit crazy coercing others into leaving by any means. I'm talking depriving others from sleep, vandalizing each other's living spots, destroying belongings and even depriving others from the food supply. A few weeks in, virtually all remaining participants had lost any human resemblance. And this went on for months, all for a chance of winning 250k. The contest didn't come to a final conclusion. The contestants agreed to resupply the store with food and continue the contest in return for a million dollars as a prize, and so this may as well continue for the rest of the year.

This was a devastating watch (I don't usually watch this dipshit's content) and worst of all no one in the comments section saw anything bad in a multimillionaire throwing money to poor, wretched and dehumanized souls just to make of them a spectacle for the entertainment of others and to further enrich himself.

I will definitely be feeling awful for the rest of the day.

exposes the lie of "consent" under a system where the default is a miserable life of exploitation

this shit should be illegal

MrBeast belongs in prison (which is the nice version of this statement).

[–] miz@lemmygrad.ml 6 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

the prison doesn't have air, but breathing canisters are hidden in ingenious places! let's get started...

I disagree. In a sane society, he would just be an every day joe and no one would care about. But people crave that shit, so we deserve tyat asshole

Nah, this is some tacky victim blaming. People who use their wealth/power to hurt others should be held accountable.

People can be bored even in a sane society. But in a sane society with sane government and laws, such stupid stunts shall be made example of by the authority.

I hate this fucking worm

Dan Olson's most recent video on Mr. Beast nailed it on the head when he said Mr.Beast is obsessed with finding the dollar amount to make people turn into monsters.

Random thought but i feel like a good number of people would deprive mrbeast of access to life for 250k if you know what i mean

The Smile Demon will not stop until he rules over a lake of fire filled with skeletons. This is his Ultimate Game.

"No one in the comments" dawg at least i promise you're wrong about that, YouTube just isn't going to promote the comments telling mrbeast to die in a pit

First time I heard someone talk about Mr Beast was like in 2017 and I thought they were talking about the guy who eats cactuses and vapes liquor.

He should try that.

He's a modern day Victor Frankenstein. His works are the creature, assembled from the tattered remains of the working class.

I've never watched Beastslop content. I've never understood its appeal. But I thought at least this mf has the decency to hire actors and stages. Now I am speechless.

It is bad when it being fake is the best-case scenario (like pranks where they scare people with violent threats and stuff).

[–] big_spoon@lemmygrad.ml 11 points 2 weeks ago

well...his content is usually "we're recreating (again) the squid game for 99999999 time!"

[–] ghost_of_faso3@lemmygrad.ml 10 points 2 weeks ago

The sane play here would be filling up your shopping trolley with the most expensive cuts of frozen meat, avocado and then taking the most expensive alcohol and tech you can find, walking out and then hawking it all to restaurants lol

I never got the appeal behind watching Mr Beast after he got into this weird phase. What do people actually enjoy in these videos?

[–] FatVegan@leminal.space 6 points 2 weeks ago

Children watch everything

[–] big_spoon@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 1 week ago

Whatever in creation exists without my footage exists without my consent.
