Ah yes, SalesForce, one of the entrenched bastions supporting dinosaur companies. Apparently they suddenly have their finger on the pulse of the modern workforce, despite not being connected to it.

Dinosaur companies happily throw money at things, the Salesforce business model isn't terrible tbh

Anyone else completely blocked by captcha checks for this site?

[–] reversebananimals@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Yes. I have no idea why but I'm completely blocked from archive.ph links due to the captcha. I'm assuming it has something to do with my privacy and cookie settings, but I'm too lazy to figure out the root cause.

Are you using a VPN?

The owners of archive.today explicitly block using CloudFlare DNS because it doesn’t provide sensitive geolocation information which is optional as a part of the DNS standard.

You can Google archive.today and CloudFlare, there’s tons of blog posts and articles.

Edit: https://jarv.is/notes/cloudflare-dns-archive-is-blocked/

I guess I will read articles about CloudFlare since I can’t read any of the articles people are linking to on Lemmy

[–] OutrageousUmpire@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

Despite the title, the article is about salespeople working for tech companies, not about software developers, etc

I wonder what factors are contributing to this change? On the positive side, change often brings opportunities for growth and adaptation. I'm curious to learn more about the dynamic going on at basket random and how it might reshape the tech job market.
