I've often said most Internet ads are ableist. They, quite literally, are meant to rip your attention away from what you're doing.

Yeah, it's defined as one by the authorities on the subject regardless of the biological characteristics, as it's defined according to the needs of psychologists to identify and treat dysfunction. Psychologists, especially those that treat patients, are generally not neurologists, or pharmacist, or... So they don't really care about those details while defining the 'condition'.
