Let me guess the book title, "No Kings: How the Largest Protest in US History Accomplished Nothing"

Rising inequality and lowering life expectancy and rising death rates aren't nonviolent. It's actually incredibly violent, it's just that we in the West have decided that poor people deserve the violence that is inflicted on them by the market.

East Germany was an exception because they were reunited with a wealthy Western partner that could absorb the shock, and this was done specifically to create people like you who would think the end of the USSR was a good thing. The rest of the former Soviet bloc didn't have anything like that, and so life expectancy fell and death rates rose. It took over a decade to recover.
Nothing of this happened here in east Germany... Institutional mutual surveillance and denunciation came to an end.

I guess the downfall of the Soviet Union doesn't count because that was the "wrong" kind of revolution?
It wasn't a revolution, it was a coup, and further it was anything but non-violent. An estimated 7 million people died around the world because of the sheer economic devastation and destruction of relied-upon safety nets.
The coup was what tried to restore the old order that had just broken down on account of its own corruption and incompetence. And asking for sources on that claim of seven million dead would be bourgeois decadence, amirite?
Nah, the coup was from the Yeltsin faction. The hardliners tried to save the union but failed to stop the coup. Here's the source on the 7 million dead, it's pretty common knowledge. Don't know why you think sources are "bourgeois decadence."
You know, it's actually easier and safer to move through life not acting like a snide 12 year old when you don't know something. Not everyone is going to be as patient with your smug ignorance as Cowbee here.
