Crazy, I recently saw a video about the hell that is getting a China visa in Europe. That's big, I'm sure it will widen the tiny positive image that China has there, which is one step to de-demonize socialism.

Indeed, this was a great move on China's part. The more people from the west go and see China the better.
I guess I have to miss out. Damn, #1 on my countries I would love to visit. I hope this access thing expands to a few more countries. We're in Eurovision, surely that's good enough, right?

Maybe? I have no idea what the general public watches anymore, we used to have our own tv shows, now it's all just American stuff.

I thought about doing that pre-pandemic when transpacific flights from the US were cheaper than going to Europe, but the $185 USD visa was a real pain.
