Whether the U.S., the EU, or any other country or trade bloc, more tariffs only lead to increased trade protectionism worldwide. Reducing the import of dangerous products can be achieved by more targeted means against specific sellers.

There is a big difference between those 2 things.having a small fee that really impact only the small purchase (like if you buy shein clothes for exemple) but not big package because if you bought a 200€ motor you can pay the +2€ easily. And on the other hand you have random tariff between +50% and 200% depending of the day of the week and of the mood of the supreme pedo monarch.
