Adam Friedland is Jewish but not Zionist. He has said that the existence of Israel makes he feel ashamed to be Jewish. He said that he became anti-Israel after his parents made him go on birthright trip as a youth and saw the mistreatment of Palestinian people. Adam told Congressman Ritchie Torres to stop supporting Israel.

The 'center-left' label is satirical. The joke is mocking podcasts for having a political label. His show is a comedy podcast, not a politics podcast.

I get that Adam is offensive and often says problematic things, but I don't think he's Zionist. If Adam was Zionist, he would be living in Israel; he lives in New York.

There are no "subreddit admins", the comm was admin banned just like Chapo. You do realize I'm already instance banned? Mods forgot or got bored. Nothing here can answer why promoting Bernie Sanders, a Zionist, can be anti-Zionist. There is no way to answer it. I guess that's all, folks. Giving people great advice online like eat more protein instead of #badfoodrestaurants or don't listen to #lyingfakenews podcasts remains the purest form of ragebait available

Yes, btw, to answer your question straight. If Adam was campaigning in support of Bernie he would be a zionist for sure no questions asked.

People's priorities, convictions and even ideology can change, I would say Adam has come out much more explicitly and vocally against the Zionist project compared to the degree to which his support for Bernie 8 years ago could be called ~~tacit~~ implicit support for the Zionist project.

You fail to see it fully. 8 years is pure generosity towards a member of a community that split off from a podcast that campaigned for Bernie Sanders, & that question isn't the core of what I'm saying. Just a reminder you have been stained by Obamaness. The blog I already posted is from 2025. So we cover basics, who is president right now? What year is it? Do you smell toast?

Adam is one of the best litmus tests for Zionist anti-semites. He's so strictly and wholeheartedly against Israel and the genocide that you'll get the WASPiest politicians calling him an anti-semite or explaining being Jewish to him. Is Bernie Sanders a Zionist? Go read my 🌈 it's more than the effort in the replies I received calls for. Every Fedi instance has such contradictory beliefs. The CIA internet anthropologist assigned to us must be having a blast. Parasocial & demeaning to the Palestinian people to say condemning their militant defense against genocide isn't Zionism.
