Who is "Nikolai" Khrushchev? Maybe ChemicalMind is from a better timeline than ours.

For real, if I was going to glaze a guy to this extent I should probably at least know his first name.

[–] PolandIsAStateOfMind@lemmygrad.ml 11 points 5 months ago

Oh come on it was just a simple Freudian slip, who he really wanted to glaze was Nikolai, the Second.

From what I can tell, the claim about Beria being a rapist and child abuser comes from one historiaster who never even accessed the Soviet archives… not exactly an airtight source.

And Scumbag Montefiore was also in the Epstein circle, so anticommunist propaganda yet again proven as projection lol.

Turns out his mind really is on chemicals

I've seen Chem's posts every once and a while, and ove held the opinion at this point that he's a coin toss between a genuine principled opinion or the most terminally online hot take you've ever seen.

Like his Iran posts drip with that annoying as fuck Western atheist drivel can't admit that the IRI unquestionably had the more correct political line during the revolution while the Communist MEK stabbed the masses in the back by working with Sadaam.

I'm sick of western leftists trying to do the whole "although I don't like the regime" bullshit.

I've always had an occams razor opinion to that sort of thing. [I know that's not how Occams Razor works I just don't have a better example]

If

I hate the Iranian regime

But I support it against US imperialism

And

I support Iran against US imperialism

Are effectively the same opinion, then opinion 2 is better because it "trims the fat" so to speak. Better yet, usually the first one spends 75% of the post complaining about Iran and such before saying "US imperialism bad." Ergo the 2nd statement is also better because it focuses on the right point. Im hoping this makes sense typed out as such

So executing proven child rapists is now a rare and impressive feat?

Well the "proof" was cornboys vibes(also known "as making shit up") and many people not liking Beria(for example Molotov). Being liked was not part of the job Beria had(basically the most confidential shit in the Union), and he was good at it. His distance to Molotov can easily explained by the fact that Molotov was a tad too open with his wife, often sharing confidential information - which Mrs Molotov then loved to share with her friends(according to Stalin).
