There is a silver lining to this, it's going to push everyone to do the things we should have already been doing for climate change at a much faster pace

Renewable energy, especially solar, in recent years as already become the cheapest form of power per kWh. It's made up 90+% of global new electricity capacity in the last year. New instillation will likely go even further. The war in Ukraine already helped ramp up renewables in many countries and the oil supply shock here is far higher than that.

This doesn't have to come solely from the top down either. Besides the roof-top solar setups you think of, plug in solar is becoming available in more locations which also allows it to exist for apartments, renters, or just someone who wants a smaller but plug and play install. Outside the US, it's already a thing in Germany, Austria, France, Lithuania, etc. More states in the US have been looking at approving plug in solar which makes small setups easy to install and possible on balconies. Utah has approved it a few years ago, Vermont just approved it earlier this year, Virginia seems set to do so.

It's also going to lead towards more electrification. From last week

Induction stove sales on Amazon India have jumped more ⁠than 30-fold, while rice cookers and electric pressure cookers are up fourfold, a company spokesperson said.

Kitchen ​appliances maker TTK Prestige (TTKL.NS), opens new tab said demand for induction stoves had surged far beyond supply.

"There is a threefold ​surge (in demand)," CEO Venkatesh Vijayaraghavan told Reuters.

It's a sobering article. Predicting the economic future is always going to depend on numerous variables. Hopefully it won't be this bad.

Trump has openly-admitted that the Republicans are finished in/by June: therefore his conversion-to-total-dictatorship has a hard/external deadline.

Between now & that tippingpoint, only more compounding-frustrations, for us, for Trump, for everybody, until finally either Trump invokes The Insurrection Act, XOR declares martial-law, if somebody creates "justification" for that.

In the Middle-East, I expect Netanyahu to keep ramping-up on his zionist rabies, & if Trump suddenly ditches that war, then I expect Netanyahu to nuke Iran, then the MINUTE regional-retaliation lauches, for Netanyahu to nuke ALL Muslim countries, simultaneously.

Which will GUARANTEE that EVERYone in the region will launch EVERYthing against Netanyahu's "Israel", no matter what the cost.

So, it's entirely possible that Netanyahu's "Israel" will be annihilated that way, in the next weeks/months.

Once Trump's got his dictatorship, though, why would he care about the rest of the world?

Enforcing HIS mass-shooting on the Americas, PROVING that NOTHING is "great" after him, will be his fundamental concern.

Civil War Part2, annexing Canada & using Greenland to enforce that annexation ( Alaska, mainland, & Greenland, + navy + airforce, means he can seal-off Canada COMPLETELY from ALL international-trade, & gain continental-kingdom quicker ), & his imperial-expansion southward, throughout the Americas will be his concern.

The law he's been holding-back, not exercising, to protect its existence .. will de-naturalize ALL non-Republicans, & it'll be criminalized for any "legal" to do ANY trade with any "illegal", so .. the "illegals" will have a simple choice:

be drafted/enslaved, XOR go into the "detention" centers network of ICE ( they will be building incinerators, starting as soon as the tippingpoint is crossed ).

So, the Americas are going to be hellscape, shortly.

Why bother telling people that this is going to be, when nobody belives that the escalation is going to continue until it crosses a phase-change/tippingpoint?

Because the borders will close, & if you want to live, & happen to be an inhabitant of the US of A, reader, you'd better get across that border BEFORE it becomes impossible.

I want good-people surviving this.

When someone gets off the tracks BEFORE the unseen-now train suddenly-appears & sweeps through at high speed, one survives.

The escalation will continue accelerating ( both Trump & ClimatePunctuation: this is our-world's megachickens, coming home to roost ), until near the end of this century.

I haven't bothered sketching-out, here, the European war ( China-backed Putin vs Europe, abandoned by the Americas ), the Asian war ( West-abandoned Asia's China's cannon-fodder, & Modi's "Russia will stand with us against China" "strategy" isn't worth the paper it's printed on ), or the Middle-East & Africa consolidation ( Saudi Arabia should be the only ruler of that region, by the 7-years end-of-this-next-cycle )

It doesn't matter, though, does it?

Nobody'll believe that this has ANY accuracy until it's too-late.

Know, in advance, that once the economy disappears ( just after the tippingpoint ) that the Regional Consolidation Time does last 7y.

Then, suddenly, everything becomes SERIOUS, as the regions deathmatch for total-planetary-dominion, or something like that..

It'll just keep going & going & going, decade on decade on decade, until it's done, or the food-chains die.

"The Tribulation", "Armageddon", "The Great Purification" ( as the American Indians have been calling it for almost 1 millenium ), it's the tantrum/pogrom that humankind's collective-unconscious mind has been working-itself-into for centuries, & finally ignorance-ego's got the technology to ENFORCE its tantrum/pogrom, in its myth's "apocalypse".

If you've ever seen an addict, on the streets, fighting for months to save their life, & their own unconscious-mind's addiction-to-obliteration murdered their only life..

then you've seen exactly what humankind's doing, this next 6-decades, at individual-human scale.

No "religion" needed.

No "supernatural power" needed.

Human unconscious-ignorance's ego-addiction & myth & apocalypse-"proof" that there is NO "power" greater than ego-ignorance's tantrum/pogrom, therefore ego-ignorance is "god" .. that's all that's needed.

I think it'll happen in the March/April period, Trump indirectly-admitted that phase-change MUST happen before the end of June, & I don't see any way of preventing the economic-bubble from popping any longer than that.

Put in-place as much "underground railroad" & prepper-autonomy as everybody can, before it becomes impossible.

Secure one's means, get autonomous, get ready, get fit, put one's "house" in order, all one can.

I believe that the 1st execution Trump will do in his PURGE will be Sanders, simply because Sanders is the truest hero in the top of the US's federal gov't, & that must hurt Trump more than he's been letting on..

but total-extermination of his foes will be on the table.

Why wouldn't he, if he finally can?
