so i wanted to watch a bit while on the go and noticed i didnt have subtitles, after some research i found a fix, however that fix is waiting ~30 sec. before hitting play for tge subtitles to load. now i dont have this issue on my laptop at all so im wondering if there is a fix so that they load instantly on android too

Looks like the subtitle format is not compatible with your mobile client and needs to be transcoded server side. I'd check from the jellyfin admin console while watching incriminated content. Also you could try findroid with MPV player as it is more compatible

thanks a lot. Findroid fixed not only the subtitle problem, but also sped up the loading of the content which for legal reasons is definitely not incriminating
