I am looking for something along the lines of A Manga With Too Many Premises (5-pages long) and Weirdo (15-pages long).

tbh I'm not sure if plot twist (if there's even a plot) - or just "twist" alone - is even the right term here. What I meant is something unexpected or surprising happening.

Ideally, it would be more fleshed out - i.e. not a one-shot - but the rate at which twists are introduced must be extremely high. At least once per chapter should be the minimum; once per ~~panel~~ page would put it on the same level as the examples given.

It'd be a bonus if it has an anime adaptation. Feel free to recommend non-manga/anime media too!

Ah... I wasn't familiar with either of those manga and assumed you were asking for thrillers, which I couldn't help with. But I see elsewhere on the thread that you say more comedic...

Pani Poni is a classic of the genre - there's never any telling where it'll go next.

Mitsuishi-san is Being Weird This Year is an unhinged romance.

Curiosity Killed the Schoolgirl is earnest nonsense and determinedly follows its stories no matter where they lead (and also has a terrific artstyle).

Asking for twists every chapter or even every page sounds unrealistic. How does a series even keep continuity like that?

But if I had to give a rec, I'd say Domestic no Kanojo. You get twists fairly often, and as long as you don't get invested in the Rui vs. Hina fight and just strap in for the dumpsterfire roller coaster it'll be enjoyable

That's the neat part... you don't!

Domestic no Kanojo

Thanks for the recc

I think Summertime Rendering is about as close as you can get but once per chapter is a bit much.

Thanks for the recc, though I have watched the anime already.

I imagine it would be possible if it's a meta parody.

I think if it's a parody that would make the twists not hit as hard though.

Yeah twists won't hit as hard in a mystery or drama.

That's fine though, because I am looking for something more comedic in nature (see the one-shot examples).

In fact, as prefaced, "twist" may not even be the right term.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is full of twists hah, complete with a great anime

I haven't watch it beyond the first couple of episodes, but this is a pun on the drills, right?

Nothing outlandish is happening at a frequent enough pace.

[–] shittydwarf@sh.itjust.works 1 points 14 hours ago

Yes it was a pun about drills. Very shortly things will begin to escalate. It just keeps getting more and more epic

Can't rec. 封神紀 enough. Every ⸿ had me stunned at the plot twists you’d think something would follow. It was like if Barry Allen hit me with another big reveal he fucked our timeline every single ⸿. Even the ender hit me with such a whiplash, I mourned for days until I realized how sad and fateful it all was.
