I'm going to try and get the family out to the pool, get the kiddo back into swim lessons.
This weekend looks great! Tomorrow, I'm gonna tey and recover from being dumb enough to be forty, go skiing and play soccer in the same day. Saturday, going to watch the local MLS team with a couple buddies. Sunday, going with a friend whom I don't see enough to catch the women's hockey team in their first game since the Olympics. In there, I hope to find time to throw some good friends' toddler around. And ideally, somewhere in there, get high and play Songs of Conquest to scratch that heroes of might and magic II itch until it bleeds.

I agree! I try to keep in mind that however many ethical clothes etc I buy, all this fun is probably predicated on third world suffering but fuck me sideways, sometimes life is just good (even if I'm limping home because someone got too enthusiastic about bottom tier coed sports.)
First weekend in a while actually free of plans or due tasks so hopefully will be doing some cycling, cooking and playing videogames :)
Nice! I'm taking a break from riding the trails this weekend - largely 'cos there's a mtb festival on and so everything's a big hectic mess, it's been wet and I've been unwell.

I'm starting Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon on PC. Was debating if playing this or getting a month ot Game Pass to play Metaphor Refantazio, but I was itching some Mecha action so I guess it is decided now :)

My partner and I are going to see a lucha libre show at one of our favorite places! We're both wrestling fans but haven't gotten to see a show live in a very long time, and I'm psyched to finally get to see our local fed in action!
I'm planning to digitize some paper manuals. That part isn't very exciting. But that aside, I'm hoping I can get myself to relax and turn off my brain for a while as I've been overworking all month. Watch TV, maybe play some patience...
