We heard this last night. We live under a flight corridor and not that far from Manchester & Liverpool so it's not too unusual to hear air traffic, but this was extremely loud and lasted for about 10 minutes. Checked Flight Radar and there were two USAF refueling jets overhead, although it didn't show any other jets.
United Kingdom
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
Ha just imaging stealth fighter jets in combat with there flight radar on.
Not so stealthy
As long as we’re not fucking helping them.
If you give the US basing and port rights, you're helping them.
I’ve told them my back yard is off limits.

At least your nonce is being kind of punished a little. Our nonces over here in the US get to keep doing what they were doing like nothing happened.
Isn't the point that you can't see it?
Is it me or is the jet plane on the thumbnail weirdly caked up?
