No new news here. Cars have been hackable sine the mid 2010s when researches hacked and ecu via a car radio using the FM radio.

Took two guys two years to develop a chain that worked to remote control most Dodge / Jeep / Chryslers 10 years ago. The only reason it isn't done more often it's it's difficult and expensive. CIA killed people this way a few times
