Fun fact, the floor of the NY Stock Exchange is almost 100% TV set these days, with no actual traders in sight. That and a bunch of very important computers. But I think those are actually in a secure bunker in the basement.

100% an event space, but the trading engines are all most likely in a data centre in some other state.

Actually, all the big trading firms have their computers as close to the stock exchange building as physically possible. Ping times matter in high frequency trading.

You’re half right but none of the exchanges keep their trading engines in their headquarters or where the people who run the exchange work.
