They didn't win the gold medal from the miracle on ice game. That happened in the semi-final round. They went on to win the gold against Finland.

It was inspiring to see the team grow. For example MacKinnon didn’t hit himself in the face with an opponents stick in the final.

That's got to hurt.

Because unlike the women's golds, those medals aren't going to be spending equal time in both countries.
